Department, dated ****** In the Government order Seventh read above, revised consolidated orders were issued showing list of diseases and a list of accredited private hospitals approved for availing assistance by the Government Employees under the Tamil Nadu Government Employees Health Fund Scheme. 2. In the Government order eighth read above, additional private hospitals were approved for availing assistance under the scheme. In the Government order nineth read above, few more hospitals were additionally accredited under the scheme and certain hospitals already accredited under the scheme were accredited for the broad based speciality.

In the Government order tenth read above, a new Health Insurance Scheme has been introduced for employees and family members of Government Departments, Local Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings and Statutory Boards, and State Government Universities to avail assistance upto Rupees two lakhs in a block period of four years. The scheme will be implemented after selection of the Health Insurance Provider. The hospitals accredited under the Tamil Nadu Government Employees Health Fund Scheme, will be covered under the New Health Insurance Scheme also. 4. As per the guidelines issued in the Government Order fourth read above the Director of Medical Education and the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services have recommended 43 private hospitals for according accreditation under the Tamil Nadu Government Employees Health Fund Scheme for the treatments approved under the scheme. 5.The Government after careful consideration of the above recommendations have decided to accept the recommendations of the Director of Medical Education and the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services. 6.Accordingly, Government direct that the hospitals shown in the Annexure to this order are approved for availing assistance for the specialities indicated against each under the Tamil Nadu Government Employees Health Fund Scheme. 7.There shall be no change in other existing rules and conditions. 8.The sanctioning authorities empowered to sanction financial assistance under this scheme are directed to quote the correct name of the specialised advanced surgery / treatment as in the approved list and the correct name of the private hospital with its serial number in their proceedings for expeditious settlement of claims. 9.
