3 Home Walkthrough $30 With the Home Walkthrough, the auditor will: Conduct a comprehensive whole house inspection Analyze insulation levels throughout the home Examine the age, efficiency and general condition of your mechanical systems Perform a basic analysis of your utility bills Standard Audit $60 The Standard Audit includes a blower door test to identify air leaks which reduce your home s comfort and energy efficiency. The Standard Audit includes: Everything from the Home Walkthrough, plus; The blower door diagnostic tool which determines how much air your home loses hourly, through the various air leaks. This air needs to be reheated or recooled, increasing your energy bills. Standard Audit with Infrared $100 The Standard Audit with Infrared is our most comprehensive energy audit. The infrared camera is used with the blower door test to deliver a more precise diagnosis. It reveals the imperfections in your home s thermal envelope where heated or cooled air escapes. The Standard Audit with Infrared includes: Everything from the Standard Audit, plus A better idea of what is happening behind your drywall and areas that can t be seen A view of temperature differences to see where insulation is present, missing or ineffective The development of more customized solutions to address air leaks, ice dams and overall conditioned air loss
