2 Meaning of CONSERVATION Conservation: prevention of loss, damage, and waste Keep from change Conservation is the set of interventions cultural heritage. These interventions are to keep values and characteristics of cultural property and to transfer them to the next generations. Architectural conservation is the process of managing change in terms of cultural heritage since they are intrinsic part of the built environment.

The concept of conservation, within the scope of World Heritage Convention, is described as the methods for understanding preserving its material introducing Developing Restoring the cultural heritage including monuments, buildings, and sites. Conservation has been recognized as a concept compatible with the objectives of sustainability.
