4 1 Web Content Management (WCM) System Faba5 is a social web content management (WCM) service which helps you to create websites in the cloud as self-service. Websites can be populated with content and published without the need to install software. In-place-editors based on HTML5 are used to manipulate text and images. Additionally Faba5 offers user-defined designs, prepared templates and APIs used by developers. The Integration with Fabasoft Folio Cloud is used to easily manage access rights with the help of team rooms. Authorized members of your team can access, edit and publish your website time- and location-independent. The cloud-infrastructure provided by Faba5 offers all tools necessary to create (self-checkout), develop (staging service) and publish (content delivery service) websites. 2 Scope of Service Faba5 2.1 Security Encrypted Communication Communication from a device to Faba5 is always encrypted. In this way data that is transferred from a device to Faba5, or vice versa, cannot be deciphered by unauthorized people. Encryption is realized by way of the technological standard https, which is supported by most web browsers and devices Login to Faba5 For the registration with Faba5 a Fabasoft Folio Cloud account is necessary. The login procedure is handled by the Fabasoft IDP. When registering with Fabasoft Folio Cloud with a valid address, you can also select a login password. Each time you log in, you will be asked to enter the address and password you have used for registering. The login password can be changed in Fabasoft Folio Cloud at any time. 2.2 Anywhere Access Anytime and Anywhere Accessing Faba5 is possible at anytime and anywhere in the world via an Internet connection considering the availability specified in the service level agreements Access via various Web Browser Clients Using Microsoft Windows Clients via the Web Browsers Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari For devices running on Microsoft Windows, Faba5 supports access via the web browsers Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari. 5 2.3 Self-Checkout Service With Faba5 you can create a new web project directly from your web browser. The process of creating a new website is independent of time and location. It can be carried out from your web browser without directly contacting our sales team. A newly created web project is ready within seconds. You do not have to set-up your own infrastructure (server), install custom software or have special know-how with the configuration of these services. 2.4 Staging Service Faba5 provides in-place-editors which are based on HTML5 technology which allow you to edit text and images directly on the front page of your website. Currently the following editors are available: Rich text editor: Edit and format text elements. Source code editor: With the source code editor you can publish source code with automatic syntax highlighting on your website. Image editor: upload, resize and cropping of images can be done directly in the Faba5 frontend. HTML editor: With the HTML editor you can edit the source code of your website. You are for example able to embed YouTube videos, Twitter streams or any other social media widgets. Additionally you can tweak and optimize the generated HTML code. Fabasoft Cloud App marketing editor: In case you are a Fabasoft Cloud App Developer and you are using Faba5 as your landing page, you are able to configure your campaigns to optimize your conversions. Once you are satisfied with the design and content of your website you can use the content delivery service to publish your web project. After configuring the domain name service (DNS) your page is available on the internet. 2.5 Content Delivery Service Using the Faba5 content delivery service the content of your website is delivered to your visitors. The content delivery service is set up for high-availability and optimized to serve your content. 2.6 Integration of 3 rd Party Services Fabasoft Mindbreeze InSite Fabasoft Mindbreeze InSite is a cloud service which provides a professional search solution for websites. Faba5 is built to integrate with Mindbreeze and the available templates are prepared to embed search without any hassle Fabasoft app.telemetry Cloud Fabasoft app.telemetry Cloud is a simple way to monitor user experience. It allows you to measure the access times your clients are experiencing and integrates a simple way to give feedback on your site. Faba5 supports the integration of Fabasoft app.telemetry Cloud by providing a comfortable user interface which takes care of embedding app.telemetry for you. Faba5 Website 5

6 2.6.3 Google Analytics Google Analytics allows you to measure the traffic of your website and gain insight into the behavior of your users. Faba5 provides an easy user interface where you just have to paste your so called UA code and the embedding is done automatically. 2.7 Layout and Design Themes optimized for Mobile Devices By providing optimized templates for mobile devices Faba5 helps you to leave always the best impression of your website. The templates adapt to the size of the device you are viewing the page. This is possible without installing extensions or changing your design. The necessary arrangements are already integrated with the provided themes Custom Layouts and Designs Faba5 provides different templates that can be customized in color and layout. If you wish to customize your site further you can download the templates from the Faba5 servers and individually adapt the templates locally. For your individual design you just need to know how to make websites but you do not have to know anything about server infrastructure or the configuration of cloud services. Once you are done with your changes you can upload your results to the Faba5 servers and publish your website with a new design Landing Pages Fabasoft Cloud App Developer Faba5 provides Fabasoft Cloud App developers a simple solution to realize a landing page for a Cloud App. With help of this landing page your visitors are able to directly register with Fabasoft Folio Cloud and subscribe to the Cloud App advertised Marketing campaign To support your marketing activities Faba5 supports the quick and simple creation of landing pages. The tools provided support you to develop and publish a fully functional landing page within minutes. 3 Technical Information 3.1 Availability Hours (Service Levels) Faba5 operates the web content management service in a high-availability data center environment. All components are operated redundantly in both active data centers. The data center operates around the clock, all year round. For the availability of data center operations, there is a distinction between core time and flex time. Core time means Austrian working days (Monday thru Friday) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (CET/CEST), flex time covers the remaining time. Two alternatives are foreseen for the availability of data center operations for the content delivery service: 99,7 % core time availability per monitoring period (quarter-yearly) 99,0 % flex time availability per monitoring period (quarter-yearly) Faba5 Website 6

7 The availability of data center operations for the staging service is 98,0 % availability per monitoring period (quarter-yearly) 3.2 Supported Platforms The following supported platforms are browser and operating system versions Faba5 supports. We offer bug fixes and features for those versions.
