Supervised design/construction and oversee physician recruitment and new program development. Current programs and specialties include sexual health, menopause, executive health, medical weight loss, cancer survivorship, headache, skin care, geriatrics, adolescent and transitional care, adolescent gynecology, osteoporosis and bone health, cardiology, nutrition, and integrative medicine and wellness. Also launched a Women s Center clinical trials program, community outreach/education initiatives, and a medical student and resident monthlong elective in Women s Health through partnership with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Involved in marketing, website development and philanthropic initiatives for the center Owner, President and CEO Lisa Larkin, MD, & Associates Internal Medicine, Menopause & Gynecology Independently developed a comprehensive multispecialty internal medicine and women s health practice with a specific focus on menopause and gynecology. Started as a solo practice and grew to include six primary care providers and three gynecologists serving more than 5,500 patients. Obtained National Committee for Quality Assurance Level 3 Certification as a Patient-Centered Medical Home. Featured in Internal Medicine News (September 2009) for unique medical home model of care. Recognized by Bridges to Excellence program for excellence in delivery of quality diabetes care; one of only three Greater Cincinnati primary care practices to report more than half (53%) of patients meeting all five daily goals for living well with diabetes (regional average: 28%) (2009, 2010). Participated in quality projects in the areas of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and cardiovascular disease Medical Director Larkin Partners in Health Comprehensive Women s Health Center Envisioned and developed a comprehensive multispecialty outpatient healthcare center for women. Recruited specialist physicians and other healthcare providers to sublease office space, offering patients the full complement of women s health services in one location. Offerings included integrative medicine, nutrition and weight loss, cardiology, gastroenterology, breast surgery, plastic surgery, urology, endocrinology, diabetes education and vascular services. Developed a Larkin Partners in Health (LPIH) website to link all the center s providers and highlight for patients a network of physicians, healthcare

3 institutions and health services businesses that shared the LPIH vision of high-quality, integrated patient care. Established a health advisory board of medical and business experts to provide counsel on the center s development and to advance women s healthcare in Cincinnati present Comprehensive Menopause Consultations Lisa Larkin, MD, NCMP Offer personalized consultations to women entering the menopause transition. Individual consults allow women to supplement their healthcare routine with expert medical guidance for menopause management Executive Director Carespring Integrative Medicine Developed the first-ever physician-led integrative medicine program for seniors living in an assisted living and long-term care facility in Cincinnati. Recruited 10 integrative medicine providers specializing in massage, Reiki, Tai Chi, acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, nutrition, stress management and geriatric counseling. Program was designed to offer residents complimentary services with the goal of promoting whole-person wellness and self-healing Medical Director, Outpatient Women s Services The Christ Hospital Provided medical direction and leadership for the development of a women s health service line. Worked with the administration to develop a women s health strategy, recruited specialist physicians, and developed community outreach programs and a monthly lecture series.
