Objectives The Bachelor of Technology in Mines and Quarries aims at training technicians able to work in the exploration of extractive and mineral-processing industries. At the end of the training, the graduate student will be able to carry out several missions: > Mining and oil investigation: choice and interpretation > Identification and analysis of a geological site, collection and process of geological data > Design and production of documents for the exploration and exploitation of soil and subsoil (maps, sections, etc.) > Extractive mineral processing > Earth and environment science, Building and civil engineering works, civil engineering > Risk and security management Graduates will also be able to read into and draft activity reports and to carry out applied geology activities on site (geophysics, hydrogeology and geo-mechanics, etc.), specifically surveys of bore holes, drilling, soil and subsoil pollution. They can provide a technical recommendation to the departments of study, extraction, exploitation, follow-up and construction. 4 Bachelor of Technology in Maintenance, Management and Repair of Building and Civil Engineering Equipment Objectives This program aims at training technicians in charge of maintenance of building and civil engineering machines and the management of equipment. At the end of the training, the graduate will be able to : > Use machines following the best practices > Implement different types of maintenance for costeffective operations : > Choose and implement a complete and profitable maintenance program > Ensure a daily follow-up, maintenance and regular fixing of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic part from building and civil engineering machines > Master on-board electronic and control and diagnose procedures with software Young talents : Within 9 months, obtain your professional degree recognized by companies with a 100% employability rate. Companies (building and civil engineering works, mining companies, quarries, transporters): Students holding this Bachelor are your future technicians or chief operating officers! Training Program The training has a length of 9 months, including 5 months of lectures, practical work sessions and tutorials onsite and 4 months of work placement. Course Units: > Basic Techniques > Applied Techniques > Organize work on machines, manage human and logistical resources linked to material damaged on the construction sites > Optimize stockpile and manage stocks of spare parts > Master the risks and necessary protections for the use and maintenance of building and civil engineering machines > Bring the support and technical advice for the use of machines, know how to manage the activities linked to equipment. Jobs and prospects Graduates can work in civil engineering companies, mining companies, transport companies, electrical energy production companies, in maintenance and engine construction services, in industrial farm and forestry structures, in equipment maintenance of urban services, in the Armed Forces, in security and civil protection. As an indicator, positions they can hold are as follows: > Head of maintenance of industrial equipment, engines depot or a thermal power plant. > Head of garage > Head of maintenance teams of building and civil engineering works > Construction and civil engineering works machines maintenance > Machine repairing > Management > Work placement at the end of the training in a professional environment in partnership with : Target This Bachelor of Technology is open to: > Students holding a 2-year university degree or equivalent or a 3-year university degree or equivalent in the areas of mechanical engineering, electro-mechanics, maintenance, > Professionals holding a 2 year-university degree in civil or rural engineering (Science and mathematics credits are an asset), and with a five year experience in the sector of building and public engineering works, > 2iE s students in initial training (Level Bachelor 2nd year) who wish to specialize. 6 Bachelor of Technology in QHSE Quality, Hygiene,Security, Environment Objectives The Bachelor of Technology in QHSE aims at training technicians able to implement and follow up integrated QHSE systems within an industrial unit and any classified installation likely to generate risks and/or nuisance on the environment, hygiene and security of workers and nearby populations. At the end of this training, the graduate will be able to: > Implement a management system for the environment and security. (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001, etc.) > Implement a security policy (security at work, work conditions, environment protection) Context A QHSE training for the everyday business activity of your company! Prevention, risks control, the security of your facilities, your protection and the protection of your goods, staff, your environment and a better performance within your company. > Develop rules for the hygiene, security and development and ensure their respect according to the prevailing rules and regulations > Draft and develop QHSE procedures, consigns and make them available > Lead a QHSE team within a company or service.
