1 Instruction to all the Pest Monitors/Data Entry Operators Before entering the data, please check the data sheets thoroughly. Enter the data in the following order (Enter Scout Farm Information) Fig 1. Main screen As shown in Fig 1. Enter the User name & password in Sign In Tab. After Sign in the web page as shown in Fig 2. Will be displayed Fig 2. Scout Farm Information
2 Data entry instructions for Enter Scout Farm Information Select Enter Scout Farm Information tab for entering the information Fig 3.Data entry form for Scout farm information 1. In Location Details tab, check whether the District name >Taluk/Block>Village are already available in the drop down list these need to select from drop down list. 2. In Farm Details tab enter the Survey no./khasara No. it should be entered in numeric form only 3. Select Field type from radio buttons IPM/Non-IPM 4. Select Irrigation Type from radio buttons Irrigated/Rainfed. 5. Select Source Of Irrigation from radio buttons Cannal/Pumping/Tubewell 6. In Degree Minutes Seconds Latitude Tab enter numeric data only 7. In Degree Minutes Seconds Longitude Tab enter numeric data only 8. In Farmer Details tab enter Farmer Name in character form only 9. In Mobile No. tab enter 10 digits only 10. In Phone No. Tab enter numeric fields only 11. In Address tab enter the name with alphanumeric & special characters 12. In Crop Details tab select Crop name from the drop down list. 13. In Variety tab select the name of varieties form the drop down list 14. After entering the correct information in the appropriate fields select Register & Save button to save the information. After this the Record saved successfully in database message will displayed.
3 Data entry instructions for Enter Scout Survey Information 15. Now you are ready to proceed for next page by selecting the Enter Scout Survey Information 16. Select Enter Scout Survey Information tab as shown in Fig In New Survey Search Scout tab select District / Taluk/Block / Village form the drop down list 18. Select Crops from the drop down list 19. Select Field from the drop down list 20. After entering the correct information in the appropriate fields select Go button to save the information. After this the web page as shown in fig 4. will displayed 21. In Enter Scout Pest Information tab as shown in the following fig select date of observation from the calendar. Fig 4. Scout Pest information 22. Select Season type by clicking on radio buttons Rabi Kharif 23. Select Crop Condition by clicking on radio buttons Good Normal Poor
4 24. In To Be Counted On 3 Branches Insects tab as shown in following fig enter numeric data only 25. In Other Pest tab select check buttons of Blister Beetle, Ash Weevil, Cow Bug. If no. of plants are more than 5 then select Add More button to add the insects If entry is not correct then select Delete button to delete the particular entry Blister Beetle Ash Weevil Cow Bug 26. In Out Of 10 Plants Disease tab as shown fig enter the information in numeric form only 27. In Other Diseases tab select the diseases by selecting the check buttons Rust Mildew Leaf Spot 28. In Out of 50 Randomly Collected Pods tab enter the No. Damaged in numeric form only 29. In No. of Podfly Immature Stages enter information in numeric form only
5 30. In Other Details tab enter the Pheromone Trap No.1 & Pheromone Trap No.2 information in numeric form only. If there are more than 2 traps then select the Add more button to enter the information in Pheromone Trap No.3 Other Details No.of Helicoverpa : Moths/Trap/Week 31. In Inter culture operation tab select the Yes/No radio buttons 32. In Inter-Culture Method tab enter the appropriate information 33. In Spray Details tab select the Name of Pesticide from the drop down list. 34. In Dosage (in %) tab enter in information in numeric form only. If no of sprays are more than 1 then select Add button to enter the spray information. 35. In Fertilizer Details tab select the Name of Fertilizer from the drop down list 36. In Dosage (Kg/Acre) tab enter the information in numeric form only. If fertilizer details are more than 1 then select Add button to enter the fertilizer information 37. In Weeding tab select the Yes/No radio buttons. 38. In Weeding Method enter the appropriate information 39. After entering the correct information in the appropriate fields select Save Survey Information button to save the information. After this the Record saved successfully in database message will displayed.

Now select Enter Monitor Survey Information tab as shown in fig In Enter Monitor Field Information tab enter location details by selecting the district/taluk/block/village form drop down list. 43. In Farm Details tab enter the Survey no./khasara No. it should be entered in numeric form only 44. Select Field type from radio buttons IPM/Non-IPM 45. Select Irrigation Type from radio buttons Irrigated/Rainfed. 46. Select Source Of Irrigation from radio buttons Cannal/Pumping/Tubewell 47.
