3 General terms and conditions Following commercial terms and conditions apply for the Port of Trondheim unless otherwise provided by law and related regulations or decisions. No liability accepted for misprints. Definitions G-factor: Figure calculated from the vessel s outer dimensions, which is its width and length combined, multiplied with its depth. G = (W+L) x D Conditions for quay charge Vessels calling in Trondheim at public quays are subject to a quay charge. The quay charge is calculated on the basis of the G-factor of the vessel. See definition above. The quay charge is payment for the use of Trondheim Port Authority's quays, and is paid according to length of stay, although never less than for 24 hours. Length of stay is defined as the time between berthing and unberthing, and is broken down to number of days. 6 hours or less into a new day will be counted as half a day. Conditions for harbour charge Vessels calling all quays within the port of Trondheim will be subject to a harbour charge. The harbour charge is calculated on the basis of the vessel s gross tonnage (GT) as stated in the vessel s tonnage certificate, pursuant to the International Convention on Tonnage Measurement of Ships of The harbour charge covers the Port Authority's costs related to facilitating safety and accessibility in the harbour fairway. The charge applies once per call. ISPS charge ISPS charges are paid according to length of stay, although never less than 24 hours. Length of stay is defined as the time between berthing and unberthing. After the first 24 hours docked, the vessel will be charged for each 6 hours commenced. In addition, cruise vessels pay a pax fee charge. 3

4 Discounts The following discounts apply: Cruise ships calling during off-peak season get 50% discount on normal rates to the quay charge. The peak season for cruise ship calls applies from 1 May to 30 September inclusive. Any cruise line (that operates under the same trademark) calling six or more times during peak season are entitled to a 20 % discount on normal quay charge rates on the sixth and subsequent calls. 4

6 Turnaround fee When cruise ship passengers start or finish their cruise trip in Trondheim, a turnaround fee will be charged in addition to the ISPS charge. The amount of the fee will be determined in agreement with the shipbroker/agent. Passenger fee Trondheim Port Authority has no passenger fee. Garbage disposal Cruise ships will be charged for actual delivery type and amount for garbage disposal services by prices negotiated with the waste disposal company. In addition, an administration fee of NOK 340,00 per call will be charged by the Port Authority.
