14 Cooperation with Japan on Training of Specialists in ICT During the period from 1991 to 2009 more than 1200 Uzbek specialists participated at trainings and factory tests in training centers of Japan and Uzbekistan. MOU between and NEC on cooperation in telecommunications and IT was signed in Based on MOU, in cooperation with NEC, trainings and seminars in optical-fiber cable, microwave equipment, transmission & switching systems, TV-transmitters, 3rd generation mobile systems (3G), digital broadcasting systems, supercomputer technologies were organized. For today more than 600 specialists studied and obtained certificates.
