11 Minimum requirements for employment 1) Scientific rank docent, senior academic staff or scientific degree doctor (candidate) of science in corresponding areas; 2) Senior teacher university degree (master of science, specialist with diploma) 3) Department teacher/assistant with diploma of higher education. Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan УП-4456 dated from 24 July 2012 «Further improvement of training and testing of scientific and academic personnel of highest qualifications» Introduction of one step Doctoral studies after university education Verification of new directions of science and study programs of majors Development of new requirements for dissertations of master s degree programs according to international standards Development and verification of requirements on dissertations and academic degrees Review of current requirements on registration of scientific works and testing on qualifications of doctoral students ~ 29 ~

Decree of the Cabinet Ministries of the Republic of Uzbekistan # 278 dated from 26 September 2012 «Further improvement of training and updating of qualifications of teaching staffs of higher educational institutions» CONSIDERS: Create central research-methodological center of training and updating qualifications of teaching and administrative staffs of higher education under the Ministry of higher and secondary specialized education of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Create 5 regional centers of training and updating qualifications of teaching staffs of higher educational institutions (later regional center) and 10 branch centers of training and updating qualifications of teaching staffs of higher educational institutions. ~ 30 ~
