12 Time for Action Step 1: Register with CPA networks It s not that easy to get approved to join most CPA networks. During signup, they will want to know more about you and if you are truly capable of driving traffic to their offers or not. Remember to mention that you have a decent budget to spend on PPC and media buys (even if this is not true). This will help you to get your account approved fast. Step 2: Find a Converting Offer This is the most important part of the whole process. It will decide your success or failure in this money-making method. Never go after high-paying offers, just offers that convert well. These lesspaying offers can add up to the total revenue really fast. For this method, we will use submit/zip submit offers that offer prizes such as free iphone, free ipad, etc. /ZIP submits work very well because you get paid every single time someone submits their or ZIP! Always make sure to go for offers that are available to people worldwide as we really don t know the nationality of our target audience. Select an offer and get the link to promote. Cloak the link using services like bit.ly or TinyURL. You can also select multiple similar offers and note the cloaked URLs in a notepad file. We will use them shortly. Step 3: Sign up with FormSpring.me Formspring.me is a high-traffic website that allows users to share their point of view, either by asking or answering questions. It will be a wise idea to fill up each and every detail that they ask for during signup process, such as age, sex, interests, hobbies, etc. Remember to upload a profile picture. You can upload almost anything: backgrounds, people, animals, etc. I suggest you search for royalty-free images and upload a smiling person s photo (either man or woman) and use that. I have noticed that most people interact with profiles that have human photos. This will help you in attract more interactions and end up with more conversions. Step 4: Ask Questions Now that you have CPA codes and a FormSpring account ready, you are all set to implement the method and wait for conversions. Ask questions and earn money. You have to be really smart in using the free traffic of FormSpring for conversions. No one will even look at your message if you post something like Hey, great things here. Will you check this out?! Posting messages is not rocket science, but you have to post messages in such a way that it will get people to actually click on your links and visit your offers. 14 Let me show you some tricks that will help. I don t use any specific format, but check out how a normal question should be: Guys, are they really going to offer me a free ipad on submit? This sounds too good to be true! Should I stay away from this? [INSERT CPA LINK HERE]. Any response is appreciated :-) The above question seems to be a very under-the-radar approach. This won t make people designate you as a spammer, but rather a genuine user that is asking a simple question. These types of messages work every time. Another important thing to remember is that you must add appropriate tags to your questions so that people can find that easily. You may add up to 10 tags that are related to the message you are posting. Don t add unnecessary tags, otherwise, it will look like spam. You can also add photographs (static or gif) to complement your message. Adding an animated gif helps in attracting more eye balls. You can use different niches to promote in this way, such as choosing the health niche to promote free trial products for weight loss, acne treatment, muscle building, or the fashion niche to promote free magazine subscriptions, beauty product trials, etc. Just remember that your messages should not sound commercial at all. 15 Summary You can use many other forums, trafficked websites to apply this method and see conversions. You can also use other Q&A sites such as Wiki Answers, Yahoo Answers, etc., and ask similar questions. If you dedicate at least 1 hour a day, you can make anywhere between $10 - $100 a day using this method. You can also create different accounts to post more messages and increase the conversion rate. 17 Time for Action Step 1: Select the Products to Promote After signing up with Clickbank, head to their marketplace, and search for a product that you want to promote. You can literally select any product you want. Let s say you want to sell a product that teaches people how to gain weight quickly. Just type weight gain in the search box, hit Enter. You will get a list of products. Select the products that get sold more easily. Sort the search result by gravity. Gravity means the conversion rate in Clickbank s language. You can select any of the first three products. Click on the Promote button and it will give you a link that you can use to promote this product. 19 Step 2: Video Review of the Product If a picture speaks a thousand words, trust me, a video speaks a million words. Make a review video of the product that you will promote on Facebook and Twitter. This video will not only help you drive more traffic to the product (Promotion > Review Video > Product Page) but will also increase the chances of a sale. The video should not be less than 1 minute or more than 2 minutes. You can t express a lot within 1 minute, and people often get bored after 1.5 minutes (stats claim so). You really don t have to be a techie to shoot a video or a script writer to talk about stuff. Just plug in your webcam (you may also use your smartphone or handycam), point it at yourself, and start the shooting. The basic motto of the video is to talk nice things about the product and say how this helped you or someone you know. You can go through the product page, take notes, memorize them, and speak. That s it. Remember to smile while talking; this helps to gain the trust of people. Try to fumble a few times; it will make the video look natural. Once you have shot the video, upload it to YouTube.com, add proper title, description, and tags. One thing you have to remember here is to add the cloaked bit.ly link at the top and bottom sections of the description with a strong call to action. 20 Here, the person has added a strong call to action text saying Click here followed by the cloaked bit.ly URL. You should paste the link at the top and bottom of the description. 21 Step 3: Promote on Facebook and Twitter Once the review video is ready, you are all set to start promoting the weight gain product. Remember that you are going to laser-target only those people who are looking for solutions to gain weight. Doing this will bring you more conversion, more sales, and more money. Focus on real-time search, meaning, people who are looking for weight gain products right now. You will use two separate tools to do this. Step 3A: Facebook Go to Type Weight Gain and hit the search button (with quotations to get more accurate results). You will get a list of Facebook users that are talking about weight gain at this very moment. Since these people are interested in your product right now, they are the BEST leads you can get to sell your product. Now it s time to sell the product and pocket the commissions. Make them sound extremely natural, not like a desperate salesman. Your first message should look like this: Hey, are you still looking to gain weight? Lemme know... I am sure you would love to know about this. Cheers, <Your-Name> Keep the first message this short. Experiments have proven that most of them will reply out of curiosity. After all, you have pretended to know the solution to their problem. Once you get their reply, it s time to send the second message. Hi. Guess what? I have just shot a video for you and uploaded on YouTube. LOL.. I have made it private as I don't want my friends to see this :D Btw, here is the link: <Link-to-Youtube-Video> It actually helped me gain weight. This should work for you, too. Be in touch. That s it. Now, the chances are very high that he/she will land on your YouTube video, get impressed, go to the affiliate link and get you a sale. Wasn t that very simple, yet effective? 24 Step 3B: Twitter You will follow the above steps on Twitter as well. The only difference is that you have to contact the lead directly by tweeting with this Twitter handle. In order to find leads, you can use the following Twitter real-time search tools: TIP: Never add hash tags (#) to your tweets when you are contacting a lead. Adding hashtags like #WeightGain gives a commercial look to the tweet and chances are high that leads will take it as another spam message. Summary The ability to turn leads into customers using this method and earn huge paychecks is endless. The more leads you can get in touch with, the higher the earning scopes. But this ebook is all about earning easy money. In this method, I am going to tell you how you can earn money from these large marketplaces without having to work yourself. 26 Time for Action Step 1: Open an Account with odesk Go to > Click on Sign Up button You will see two options there: I need a contractor and I need a job. Click on the signup button next to I need a contractor and proceed. Fill out the form and submit it. Once you submit the form, odesk will send you a verification . Go to your and verify your address. Once you are done with the verification process, sign in to your odesk account and head to the Billing section where you will add a credit card to verify payment credentials. Once you add a card, they will charge your card for two small amounts which will be refunded to you within 2-3 days after verifying your credit card. After verifying your credit card, you now have access to most odesk sections without any limitation. Step 2: Hire Designers/Developers on odesk Here, your primary aim is to get in touch with as many designers, developers, and programmers as you can. You will use those talents and their skills to earn money. Now since your credit card is verified, head to the Recruit tab and click on the Post a Job button. Smart Income Guide Page 26

27 You will have to post several different jobs in order to hire people from different backgrounds. For example: I need a PHP Web Developer I need a Photoshop Expert I need a JQuery Expert I need a MySQL Database Expert I need a Frontend Designer with Experience in CSS And so on.. Make sure that you are giving a proper job title, adding the category/subcategory, description, and other fields. The more detailed and accurate information you provide, the more applicants will apply to the jobs. Since odesk is one of the largest freelancer marketplace, you will get several applicants. If you have written the jobs well, you should not get less than 25 people applying for each job. That s huge, isn t it? odesk allows you to initiate chat conversations with applicants. Use that feature to ask the applicants for their instant messenger ID, such as Skype, GTalk, Yahoo Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, etc. I have observed that almost all of them have instant messenger handles and they provide it once you ask for it. Now, talk to them over instant messengers and say that you have some projects coming and you want him/her to work on this. Maintain a record of all those applicants, preferably using MS Word, by creating different groups such as Designers, PHP Developer, JQuery Developers, etc. Ask them for their portfolio (all previous work that they have done so far). This is for your record only. Within few days, you have a team of workers who are willing to work for you as soon as you intimate them. Smart Income Guide Page 27

28 Step 3: Get Projects on Freelancer.com and Elance.com Head to and and sign up as a freelancer who is looking for jobs. If you want the best returns from this method, go for a paid account as they allow paid account holders to make several profiles from same account. This means you can create 3 different profiles with 2 different skill sets. Browse through the projects posted there and shortlist the ones that your chosen applicants from odesk can deliver. TIP: Once you bid on a project, contact the project manager directly by dropping him a message. Promise the PM that you will deliver the work much faster and at a decent budget. Also, mention all the related the projects that your odesk applicant has done so far. I have seen that sending messages to the job poster with a vast portfolio often helps in getting the job. Let's assume that you come across a project on Freelancer - "Create custom WordPress Plugin for $400". You bid on it, sent a message to the vendor, and got the job awarded. Then you one of the odesk freelancers who fits the job requirement. Offer him 50% of the actual value that you will get on Freelancer.com, which is $200. Negotiate a little bit, if required. If your Freelancer.com client requires regular updates from you, demand the same from your odesk freelancer and pass the updates across. Once the job gets done, take the delivery from the odesk freelancer and deliver it to the original client. Freelancer.com client will now pay you $400, pay the odesk freelancer his dues $200, and you keep easy $200. Imagine how much you would be able to earn if you get as many jobs as possible! SUMMARY This method can also be called outsourcing business but it can be highly scalable. Always make sure to have a group of freelancers under you who are ready to take up any development or design work. You will promote ClickBank products on your blog and YouTube to earn money on each sale. Oh wait! You have been trying to promote ClickBank products almost everywhere, but not getting any sales! This time, you will. I promise. You will do what the TOP successful IMs are doing. You will get your affiliate pages rank on the first page of Google. It will not be a good idea to promote a product that has been in the market long since hundreds or thousands of affiliates are already busy promoting that. You will waste your time by jumping into a pond where hundreds of experienced fishermen are already busy fishing. You have to find a pond that is yet to be explored by other fishermen. Get the idea? You will promote products that are yet to be released and has next to zero competition. You will stand a good chance of ranking higher in search engines if you promote something that nobody else is promoting. It will also help you SEO-wise. If you ask any talented SEO guy, he will tell you that if you want to rank in the first page of Google for a certain product that is yet to be released and marketed, you have to start working two or three months prior. 30 Since nobody is doing SEO for a product that is yet to be released, your review will rank #1 in Google. Do you understand the point of acquiring #1 spot for a CPA product on Google? This #1 spot has made some affiliates millionaires ;) What you need to get started 1. ClickBank Account 2. A blog (I recommend InMotionHosting for better ranking) 3. YouTube Account Time for Action Step 1: Find a yet-to-be-released product Go to the following sites. These cover upcoming affiliate products. You have to go through the short details of all yet-to-be released products and analyze them properly. If you browse the ClickBank marketplace, you can see that thousands of products are listed in each category. But how many of them are actually Smart Income Guide Page 30

31 getting sold like a hot cake? If you choose the wrong product, all your hard work will be wasted. Although no one can predict the future demand of a product, you can somehow do some calculation based on the quality of content, track record of the product author/developer, time of release, price, value it will provide to its customers, and the number of similar products currently available in the market. 32 TIP: Make sure that the product you are going to promote is to be released at least 30 days from now. You need this timeframe to prepare content, get backlinks, and be on the #1 spot on the day of its release. Step 3: Prepare Reviews of the Product Let s say you shortlist 2 products. Now shoot an to the marketer of those products and request for a review copy. Most of the marketers will work with you since you are willing to promote their product and bring them sales. Always be sure to maintain a good relationship with them as they will help you to succeed. They know that your success as an affiliate will bring them success as an internet marketer. Once you get the product, use it. Use all available features, take screenshots, track results, mark consistency in output, and maintain notes. Now, you have to write a detailed review of the product. Here is the tricky part: cover your entire experience, mostly positive ones, but include a few negative ones as well. People who buy IM products are familiar with well-written sales copies and they will probably ignore your review if all you say are nice things about a product. Nothing is perfect. Mention one or two drawbacks in your review to make it look genuine and unbiased. This will help you earn the trust of your audience and get more sales. Hire a freelancer to rewrite the article (don t spin) and give you 10 different versions. It will cost you around $50 for 10 copies. (You can also do it yourself and save $50.) Step 4: Publish Reviews Online Since the product is yet to be released, chances are high that you will get keyword-focused web presence. Get a keyword-rich domain. Step 5: Get Your Reviews Ranked on Google Once all your reviews are online on various domains, now it s time to do some link promotions to rank them well on Google. 34 Before ordering the gig, send a personal message to the seller and say that you will require those links to be distributed among all 9 Web 2.0 sites. Most will agree to it anyway. Now your Web 2.0 articles will have some decent number of backlinks to them and considering the authority of those websites, they will tend to rank well on Google. And since all those ranking articles will be linking to your main site, your site should get higher in the ranks gradually. Step 6: Enjoy the Money Once the product goes online and people start searching for reviews, they will stumble across your reviews. That s it. Now you have enough targeted traffic on your website who actually want to buy that product! This is probably one of the rarest methods that bring a blog-targeted traffic without doing SEO or worrying about Google updates.
