I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jesse, and we are excited to be building a life together in the Madison area. We enjoy traveling around Wisconsin and Minnesota to visit family and friends as often as we can. Growing in my knowledge of teaching is important to me. I am taking summer classes through Martin Luther College to become synod certified by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.

I have had the blessed privilege of being married to David for the past 24 years. We have four children: Peter (who is with heaven with Jesus), Esther, Sarah, and Andrew. I have learned through the years that God will place us exactly where He wants us, at precisely the right time. God is greater than we can imagine. What we perceive as formidable, our heavenly Father uses to show us His infinite power and love.

I am the youngest of six children in my family. Babysitting all of my nieces and nephews gave me a love for young children. This love of children and urge to share God s love with His precious lambs led me into the teaching career.

Romans 5:-8: But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. I feel very blessed to be teaching here at Westside Christian! Many experiences led me to become a teacher first is the many experiences I have had serving congregations across the country, from King of Prussia, Pennsylvania; to Winslow, Arizona; Medford, Oregon; and other locations in between. The other is a God-given passion to speak and teach God s truths with others. I currently hold a Minnesota State Teaching License for Grades K-6 and Grades 5-12 Social Studies. My primary duties here at Westside include teaching 5-6 Religion, Science, and Social Studies; 5-8 Math and Technology; and K-8 Physical Education. I look forward to serving you. I am continuing my education as a preschool teacher in both spiritual and secular areas. I attend Bible studies offered at St. Andrew and also offered through Martin Luther College. I enroll in various courses and seminars available for growth in the early childhood field. I am currently enrolled in the synodical early childhood certification program.

This passage reminds me that our Heavenly Father has a purpose and plan for all of His children. After working in Washington DC in both the public and private sector, the Lord led me to pursue a career in the teaching ministry. I met my wife Rachel at Dr. Martin Luther College and we were married after graduating in Our first call was to serve at Our Savior Lutheran School in San Antonio, Texas. Both of us enjoyed being Texans and have many fond memories of our time in the Lone Star state. In 1999, my wife and I accepted calls to serve in Woodbridge, Virginia at Trinity Christian Academy. While in Virginia we were blessed with the arrival of our children, Alexander and Julia. Our family is enjoying living and serving in the Madison area as we reach out together and Share His love.
