1 ~ Chapter 1 ~ Chapter 2 Lord, I pray that You would give me a confident heart in Christ. Take me beyond believing in You to truly believing You. Help me rely on the power of Your promises and live like they are true. You say blessed is the one who trusts in You and whose hope and confidence are found in You. Those who hope in You will not be disappointed, because You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. When self- doubt tells me I can t overcome my insecurities, I will believe Your promise that all things are possible to whoever believes. I will not throw away my confidence, because You say it will be richly rewarded. I will persevere so that when I have done the will of God, I will receive what You have promised. My confidence is in Christ and I am no longer one who shrinks back and is destroyed, but one who believes and is saved! In Jesus name, Amen. May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that I may know Him better. I want to know and rely on the love You have for me, Jesus, and live in that love. You say that whoever lives in love lives in You, and You in him. In this way, love is made complete in me, so that I can have confidence today and forever. I want an up close and personal relationship with You, one where I don t have to pretend or hide. When I feel insecure, insignificant, or unloved, remind me of Your perfect love that has the power to cast out my fear. Thank You for Your love that is patient, is kind, and keeps no record of my wrongs. I trust that because Your love is perfect, I don t have to be. I will remain in Your love and be confident of this: that He who began a good work in me will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. 2 ~ Chapter 3 ~ Chapter 4 Lord, I pray that You would guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior. I want to learn how to put my hope in You all day, every day. Please help me stop searching for fulfillment in anything or anyone but You. My soul thirsts for You; my body longs for You in this dry and weary land where there is no water. Satisfy me each morning with Your unfailing love so I can sing for joy all the days of my life. I want to be rooted and established in Your love. I want to have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep the love of Christ is. I want to know this love that surpasses knowledge that I may be filled to the measure of the fullness of God. Thank You that Your love never fails, even when I do. Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You and praise You as long as I live. In Your name I will lift up my hands, Amen. I m calling upon You and praying to You, and You promise that You will listen to me. You say that I will find You when I seek You with all my heart. Open the eyes of my heart so that I can know the hope to which You have called me and Your incomparably great power for us who believe. Rebuild my ancient ruins and restore places devastated long ago in my heart. Help me forgive those who have hurt me, just as in Christ You forgave me. Despite the pain of my past, You offer hope for my future and want to do a new thing in my life, making a way in the desert and streams in my wastelands. When my soul is downcast, I will call this to mind and I will have hope. Because of Your great love, I am not consumed, for Your compassions never fail. 3 ~ Chapter 5 ~ Chapter 6 Lord, thank You that in Christ I am a chosen woman, a royal priest, a holy daughter, a woman belonging to God. Thank You that I may declare the praises of Him who called me out of darkness into His wonderful light. Jesus, You are the light of the world! You promise that when I follow You, I will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life. I want to follow You with all my heart and in each of my thoughts. Take me beyond the shadows of my doubts and teach me how to rely on the power of Your promises. When doubt overshadows my thoughts, help me shift my focus back to You, remembering that the mind fixed on the flesh is death, but the mind fixed on the Spirit is life and peace. Thank You Lord, my God, that You go with me, to fight for me against my enemies of insecurity and inadequacy and give me victory. Lord, thank You that in Christ I m chosen, holy, and dearly loved. I love knowing I am a crown of splendor in my Lord s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of my God. Whenever someone rejects me, heal my hurting heart with the promise that You will never leave me or forsake me. When I m tempted to find my significance and security apart from Your provision and promises, help me resist Satan s lies and temptations and stand firm in my faith. When insecurity threatens to take me captive, I will remember that Christ set me free, and help me not to allow myself to be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Holy Spirit, remind me every day that such confidence as this is mine through Christ not that I am competent in myself to claim anything for myself, but competence comes from Him. I have been given fullness in Christ, who is the Head over every power and authority. I choose to believe His goodness makes me good enough! In Jesus powerful name I pray, Amen. 4 ~ Chapter 7 ~ Chapter 8 Lord, thank You that my failures never get the final say You do! You say there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, and my life is hidden in Him. When my heart or my enemy tries to condemn me, I will have confidence, believing that I will receive from You anything I ask according to Your Word and Your will, as I obey Your commands and seek what pleases You. Because my steps are established by You, Lord, I will believe that You delight in me even when I fail or fall. When I have a setback, I will get back up again because You give me Your shield of victory and Your right hand sustains me; Your help makes me great. Thank You for Your grace that is sufficient for me. I choose to rely on Your promise to perfect Your power through my weakness, so that Christ s power may rest on me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. Help me to stop comparing myself with others so I can become the woman You created me to be. I m one of Your masterpieces, created anew in Christ Jesus so I can do the good things You planned for me long ago. Remind me that You promise to fulfill Your purpose for me and that You will not abandon the works of Your hands. I surrender my personality, heart s desires, abilities, spiritual gifts, and experiences to Your purposes. I delight myself in You, Lord, trusting You to shape the desires of my heart to match Yours. I want to seek and serve Jesus in all I do, for in Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love as each part does its work. 5 ~ Chapter 9 ~ Chapter 10 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way. When concerns consume me, remind me that You are with me, holding me by my right hand and guiding me with Your counsel. Though my flesh and my heart may fail, You are the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Help me turn my burdens over to You, knowing that You will take care of me. Because You are my shepherd, I shall not be in want. You promise that when I dwell in the shelter of the Most High, I can rest in the shadow of the Almighty. You are my refuge and fortress, my God in whom I trust. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life; You stretch out Your hand against the anger of my foes, and with Your right hand You save me. Those who know Your name trust You, Lord, because You have never deserted those who seek Your help. 6 ~ Chapter 11 Lord, I want my life to be a love letter from Christ, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, and not on tablets of stone but on the tablet of my heart. Holy Spirit, remind me that I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in my body, I live by faith in Him who loved me and gave Himself for me. You say that I m precious and honored in Your sight. You call me Your beloved and tell me I can rest securely in You, for You shield me all day long. Thank You for the exceedingly great and precious promises You have given me; through them I am a partaker in Your divine nature. I want to give away all that You have given me. Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all I can ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within me, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!
