17 1 CMU Student costs are based upon a guaranteed undergraduate tuition plan called The CMU Promise. The CMU Promise, for new and transfer undergrad students, is one unchanging tuition rate for up to five years. In addition to fixing the cost of tuition, the CMU Promise eliminates all former mandatory fees. The CMU Promise also guarantees that the room and board rate for residence halls will not increase for two years from the date of admission to CMU. For graduate students, an additional $12/credit hour is assessed for most Physical Therapy courses. 2 EMU A General Education Program Fee of $13.00 per credit hour is assessed on each 100 level course in Mathematics, Communications, English, and Science. Presidents Council, State Universities of Michigan Fall 2007 Tuition and Fees Report 11 WSU The WSU fall 2007 semester tuition & fee rates included a tuition contingency fee that was subject to payment of the FY 2007 deferred appropriations. The deferred appropriations were fully restored and therefore the tuition contingency fee will be discontinued in the Winter 2008 semester. The fee was $13.00/cr for undergraduates, and $29.00/cr for graduates. The annual amounts for tuition and fees are calculated without the contingency fee applied for the Winter 2008 semester.
