This framed wall panel will house the central distribution manifold for several heating zones. Neatly installing and tagging these end points during installation eliminates guesswork at startup and when service is needed.

7 For this space, Gateway provided custom piping calculations for a radiator-less commercial heating system. In all of our designs, easy-to-follow, as-built drawings are provided on request.

Thermal imaging helps Gateway professionals identify problem areas in existing heating and plumbing systems, and allows us to evaluate our own designs for efficiency and longevity. Tiered radiator mounting provides more heat where adequate floor and wall space is not available. Multiple heating zones require individual pumps and water temperatures using minimal space in a single utility room.

11 Custom distribution manifolds in this system send multiple water temperatures to various heat emitters. This residential heating system required an indirect water heater. The U.S. Department of Energy homeowner s guide says this may be the least expensive way to make hot water.

12 Radiant floor heating is another one of our specialties... Radiant floor heating is growing in popularity as an alternative to tradtional heating methods. Warmboard provides a structural-grade subfloor and is slotted to accept heating tubes and maximize thermal transfer and efficiency. System design and tubing layout are critical in a high-efficiency radiant heat installation. Here, the subfloor tubing is placed in a pattern to distribute heat evenly across the floor s surface.

13 Soon, this apartment will be warmed by radiant floor heating on every level. Hot water tubes beneath the floorboards warm the floor s surface, and heat travels upward to warm the space.
