4 Visa application Checklist Start on time! This may take up to 6 months Check the website of the embassy for specific requirements Supportletter via Radboudumc International Office, request these well in advance via e mail or e stip Evidence of financial independency Proof of Health

5 Visa example: USA J 1 visa for students, do not go with a B1 visa! 6 Visa example: Australia Working Holiday (max 6 months), easy to obtain Occupational Trainee, takes longer to obtain Online procedure Can take up to 5 months in case of an Occupational Trainee visa

7 Visa example: Canada Less than 6 months = no visa required More than 6 months = visa & work permit needed, via the embassy in Berlin Letter of Invitation from your Canadian supervisor is always necessary

15 Internship & Study within Europe Internship period: 2 12 months; During your MMD programme; Or after graduation as an MMD masterstudent: within one year of graduation, for a period of 2 12 months, depending on the number of months that you have not used during the MMD programme; Request has to be made while registered as MMD student.
