Gaming PC Hardware Engineer -- Motherboards & Components M26/Specialist As a member of the Gaming R&D team, you will be responsible for development and qualification of motherboards, electrical components and modules for gaming PC products. Driven by the needs of technology-savvy gamers and power users, you will identify and develop innovative solutions that create user delight and competitive advantage. This will include all activities necessary to take a product from concept to production including system architecture definition, design, debug validation, and factory sustaining engineering support. You will work with crossfunctional system team members and external suppliers to ensure designs meet the required level of functionality, performance, cost, reliability, thermal and acoustics, regulatory compliance, industry standards compliance and Microsoft WHQL and program requirements. You will work closely with ODMs and 3rd party suppliers to develop, execute, test and debug Gaming PC designs. Your technical expertise and leadership will ensure complex systems issues are driven to closure through root cause analysis by component & subsystem owners, ODMs and suppliers, resulting in a high quality product that pushes the limits of performance and user experience. Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or Computer Engineering required; Masters preferred. Minimum of five years experience in systems design and development of high Demonstrated expertise in architecture, design, development and integration of digital hardware, firmware and software systems such as processors, memory, chipsets, motherboards, graphics subsystems, BIOS, and drivers. Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: performance analysis & tuning, OS & driver optimization, thermal and power management. 3 Gaming PC / Platform Engineering Program Manager As a Platform Program Manager for the Gaming R&D team, you will be responsible for leading the technical design, development and delivery of desktop gaming PC products. 4 Gaming PC / Quality Program Manager (QPM) M27/Expert As Quality Program Manager for the Gaming R&D team, you will be responsible for all aspects of qualification, design quality and compliance for gaming PC products. You will work with crossfunctional system team members and external suppliers to ensure designs meet the required level of functionality, performance, cost, reliability, thermal and acoustics, regulatory compliance, industry standards compliance and Microsoft WHQL and program requirements. You will work closely with ODMs and 3rd party suppliers to develop, test and debug Gaming PC designs. Your technical expertise and leadership will ensure complex systems issues are driven to closure through root cause analysis by component & subsystem owners, ODMs and suppliers, resulting in a high quality product that pushes the limits of performance and user experience. Additional specific responsibilities include: Communicate and manage quality goals and expectations for the project with ODM partners. Set metrics and quality objectives for the project, working with the appropriate teams. Develop the overarching qualification and testing strategy and plan to assure on-time and high quality delivery of the product under development. Create, leverage, document and communicate a test plan that finds major issues early in the development process. Create user test cases that will deliver the best customer experience of new product categories. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required; Masters preferred. Minimum of eight years experience in systems design, development and qualification of high performance personal computers, workstations, or consumer electronics products. Demonstrated expertise in design, development and integration of digital hardware, firmware and software systems, or mechanical product design including physical, thermal, acoustics, safety, regulatory and reliability. Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: electromagnetic compliance, safety certifications, environmental test & qualification. Demonstrated success leading technical development or system qualification in an ODM partnership model.

5 Gaming PC / Software Program Manager As Software Program Manager for the Gaming R&D team, you will be responsible for leading the software and firmware development, selection, integration, testing and delivery for gaming PC products. Driven by the needs of technology-savvy gamers and power users, you will identify and develop innovative solutions that create user delight and competitive advantage. This will include involvement in all software-related activities necessary to take a product from concept to production including system architecture definition, design, debug validation, and factory sustaining engineering support. You will work with cross-functional system team members and external suppliers to ensure designs meet the required level of functionality, performance, cost, reliability, thermal and acoustics, regulatory compliance, industry standards compliance and Microsoft WHQL and program requirements. 6 Gaming PC / System Program Manager As a System Manager for the Gaming R&D team, you will be responsible for leading a crossfunctional team in development and delivery of gaming PC products. This will include all activities necessary to take a product from concept to production, across engineering, marketing, and operations. You will lead the cross-functional system team and work closely with external suppliers and ODMs to identify design objectives, design and develop the product, test it, and launch it to the market. As System Manager you will own lifecycle milestones and checkpoints; objectives for functionality, performance, schedule and cost; program budget; and risk management. Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or Computer Engineering required; Masters preferred. Minimum of eight years experience in systems design and program management for high Recognized expertise in product lifecycle management for complex, ambitious programs. 7 Gaming PC / Thermal Systems Engineer As a member of the Gaming R&D team, you will be responsible for thermal solution design and analysis of high-performance desktop and notebook PC systems. As multicore processors and specialized graphics cards drive system power dissipation above 1000W, thermal management becomes a critical driver of system performance and reliability. Enthusiast gamers push the envelope even further with overclocking and similar tweaks. You will work closely with Gaming system teams, technology suppliers, materials vendors, and HP Labs to develop optimal thermal solutions, incuding air- and liquid-cooled designs. You will work with cross-functional system team members and external suppliers to ensure designs meet the required level of functionality, performance, cost, reliability, thermal and acoustics, regulatory compliance, industry standards compliance and Microsoft WHQL and program requirements. You will work closely with ODMs and 3rd party suppliers to develop, execute, test and debug Gaming PC designs. Your technical expertise and leadership will ensure complex systems issues are driven to closure through root cause analysis by component & subsystem owners, ODMs and suppliers, resulting in a high quality product that pushes the limits of performance and user experience. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with strong emphasis in thermodynamics, materials and heat transfer required; Masters or PhD preferred. Minimum of eight years experience in systems design and development of high Demonstrated expertise in thermo-mechanical system architecture, design, development and integration with electronic and power components for high performance computer systems. Voodoo and HP recently joined together to form a new gaming business to create the next generation of gaming machines and experiences. The Voodoo Design Team is seeking an Industrial Designer to help create product designs and gaming experience programs. Voodoo s Designers will focus on conceptualization and development of new products including aspects of form, aesthetics, physical interfaces and system compatibility. They must posses the ability to create the design tools and documentation to convey the solutions to Design Team with renderings, models, mechanical drawings. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design required; Masters preferred. 5+ years experience in the Design field. Exceptional skill and sensitivity in aesthetics, form development, and innovative design solutions, as demonstrated by a strong portfolio of successful work. Excellent design presentation skills, with proven ability to successfully communicate design strategies to non-design audiences.
