2 Motivation and opportunity of the professional master of «AC» The objective of the professional master s of degree Cooling and Airconditioning which can be used in the domestic as well as commercial and industrial applications. The professional master of Cooling and Airconditioning provides an advanced formation concentrating an a multidisplinary domain of cooling and airconditioning. It is meant not only to from specialists who are capable of filling positions of responsability in the jobs of cooling and airconditioning but also to complete the formation of this staff in the domain of the production of industrial cooling. Aims of professional master of AC The professional master s AC degree leads to professionalism, with trainigs and contributors from the word of entreprise. It is intended to from people who will be immediatly operators in the fieled of refrigirating systems. The professional master «AC» is absolutely recommended to the students who belang to mechanical and electromechanical engineering. The systematization of the training has filled up the lack of contact with the industrial word in the university curriculum of the future graduate. In the industrial tissue which is likely to receive the future holders of the professional master «AC», there is an important part of PME where the condidate should be versatile. The pedagogic content of this professional master should take into consideration this versatility. Conditions of admission in the professional master s degree AC The condition to admit in this professional master is to hold are of the following diploma or their equivalents : - Electromechanical Engineering diploma - Mechanical or Electrical Engineering diploma - Maîtrise in Mechanical, physics.. Coaching in the professional master s degree «AC»
3 The teaching of the high level referred to is intended at the same time to be conceptual and very close to the reality of the world of entreprise. That is why the pedagogic staff of the professional master s degree «AC» comprises : - Academics from Engineering schools - Academics from Sciences and Management faculties - Entreprise consultants and experts. - Managerial staff of Entreprises. - Visiting professors. The partnership with the entreprises will be reinforced throughout the curriculum with group work, mini-projects, seminars, conferences and witnesses of entreprise bosses and mainly the obligatory training which will serve as a support for the preparation of the «Professional Memoire» Pedagogy of the professional master s degree «AC» To alternate the theorical and the theoritical and the practical teaching, the curriculum comprises : - lectures - case studies - Research work in groups and presentations. - Seminars and conferences - Thermatic meetings with the professionals of the great sectors of the activities of interest. - Computerized simulations - Workshops, practical work and mini-projects Detailed programme and hourly volume of the professional master s degree of Colling and Airconditioning
4 The formation of the professional master of cooling and airconditioning consists in 360 teaching hours, from of modules, 20 hours each. The curriculum comprises: Common modules such as entrepreneurial culture, techniques of communication, the module C2i (organized exclusively at distance), the module of durable development and management of quality and innovation, and the English module dealing with a preparation for the TOEFL Test. Mini-projects, personalized, work seminars and factory visits. A professional project on a create case. All the module last 20 hours devided into 4 sessions, 4h30 each in addition to the 2 hours evaluation in from of an escam and personalized work which take place only on Saturdays morning. The-courses are organized in the National Engineering School of Sfax exclusively every Saturday afternoon from to with a fifteen-minute break at 4p.m between the two sessions, and every Saturday morning from 8.30 to minute break at 11 am. 5 Modules of specialization of the professional master s degree of AC in ENIS (20 h) Part I: Basic Sciences of Refrigerating. Objectives: this part of the formation consists in the theoretical and practical aspects necessary for the conception of an airconditioning / heating system. It is devided into 7 modules. Content of Part II (120 h): Domestic and Industrial cooling 1- Industrial refrigerating machines (20) Domestic and industrial airconditioning 1- climatic Engineering (20) 2- Calculation of installations (20) 3- Maintenance of climatic systems (20)
