6 21 delegates made commitments to take further action as a result of attending our Fleet Management Seminar on 9 October. Below are some examples of these commitments. Natural Resources Wales will review the policy regarding corporate manslaughter risks, in particular checks on driver licencing / competency. They will check levels of responsibility regarding corporate manslaughter charges being brought against company. Torfaen County Borough Council will review and tighten up Grey Fleet Policy, feeding into existing Corporate Driving Policy. Carmarthenshire County Council will look at integrating a suite of driving policy documents e.g. road risk policy, grey fleet policy. Hywel Dda Health Board will explore opportunities in the telemetric market. Pembrokeshire County Council will consult with Natural Resources Wales on the use of biofuels. South Wales Fire and Rescue Service will extend the use of its vehicle tracking. Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council will review grey fleet risk assessments and policies. Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council will explore CO 2 reporting devise a programme and report. Hywel Dda Health Board will raise awareness to the highest level of the organisation particularly the consequences of doing nothing re. Corporate Manslaughter. Coleg Gwent will look to introduce a tracker system evidence for reporting format and savings.
