3 A BRIEF HISTORY Commitment to reduction in emissions over a number of years Coventry Electric Vehicle Project 4 x Peugeot 106 Cars Smiths Electric Vehicles deployed on Street Cleansing 2002 onwards Operated a fleet of 40 dual fuel vehicles (LPG/Petrol) Introduced a 5% biofuel mix to our fuel supplies Green Travel Plan Pool Cars, Car sharing, bikes to work Purchased 4 Toyota Prius Hybrid Cars (2005) Electric Smart Car Trial (2006/7)
