He founded the field of narrative coaching in 2002 and Center for Narrative Coaching in He created Narrative Design Labs in 2011 to help practitioners deepen their own development through immersing themselves in narrative design theory so they could bring themselves and their work to the world in new ways. He has run Labs in twelve countries thus far. David has also worked with 60 client organizations in the past 20 years.
