Once in their units, guests are often confused about the features they ve paid for and the places they could visit nearby. 2 RESULTS: METEORIC GROWTH In very short order, Glad to Have You has become the leader in its space, increased returns for its clients and demonstrated how quickly a company can build a profitable new businesses on Titanium. I ve never seen any company grow this fast, says Glad to Have You CEO, Keith Landers. We went live May 1st of 2012 and the platform s success has basically been meteoric. We were hoping to be building two to three VRM apps per month and this month I think we ll close 46. That s a 1,500% improvement over initial expectations. In just 12 months, the company has licensed its platform to over 240 VRMs representing over 36,000 rental units. So far, they have built over 240 white label apps and are deploying more each day. It is now serving resorts as well as VRMs and will be adding timeshare and individual property functionality in the near future. Results for VRMs Until this year, says Landers, a VRM managers data was always outdated and they really didn t know a lot about who their guests were. Now they are sending their customers stuff that matters and as a result they have an intimate relationship with them. That s resulting in increased rentals per unit. I ve never seen any company ever grow this fast. We went live May 1st of 2012 and the app s success has basically been meteoric. We were hoping to close two to three VRMs per month and this month I think we ll close 46. An entirely new business Glad to Have You itself is thriving. For every VRM with which it contracts, it builds and maintains a branded mobile app and web presence. VRMs pay a setup fee and an ongoing monthly service fee per rental unit. The Company is growing at an amazing rate Landers reports. We re taking off like nothing I ve ever seen in all the companies I ve owned. Auto-invite drives viral adoption Any guest making a reservation can auto-invite anyone else staying with them to download the app as well. Because in many instances the renter is traveling with multiple friends or family members, the auto-invite feature has driven an extraordinarily swift uptake of the app two to three times what the company had forecast. Indeed, Landers is seeing over 100% participation in many instances. Industry integration A key to Glad to Have You s success has been its integration with every major Property Management software system, as well as all the major electronic lock providers. The analytics in this thing are hard to even comprehend. We can tell you exactly what people are looking at in incredible detail, and we ll build you a real time persona on every single one of your guests and tell what they care about. Powerful analytics The Glad to Have You platform lets VRMs track customers, units and non-paying guests of customers. As a VRM I could see, for example, that right now there are 112 people who are looking at a particular charter boat service that we ve listed, explains Landers, and I can press a button and send a real time notification to those 112 making them an offer. Part of a broader ecosystem Each app is connected to a comprehensive data management backend also created by the company. In addition, the Glad to Have You service offers web, mobile web and PDF capabilities keeping all guests in the one system, which makes it easier to maximize customer satisfaction and to inform guests of further services that they would genuinely like to hear about.

4 WHY TITANIUM Landers knew Appcelerator from his other job as CEO of mobile development company Bizmosis. When we started Bizmosis back in late 2008, we began to build our own development tool, he recalls. But as Titanium evolved and became very powerful, we moved to using Appcelerator and that allowed us to just focus on what we do best. Several factors influenced Landers in that decision: Cross-platform support Titanium provides developers with the native cross-platform support they need to deliver high quality solutions for their customers. Glad to Have You currently offers customers ios and Android versions of its apps. When we started Bizmosis back in late 2008, we began to build our own development tool. But as Titanium evolved and became very powerful, we moved to using Appcelerator and that allowed us to just focus on being a development company. Speed of development Titanium allows developers to create a common code base using standard web languages such as JavaScript, and then renders this natively according to the platform. This powerful capability lets Glad to Have You build new client apps quickly and update them regularly as mobile OS updates are released. We re coming out with new releases every week and a half to two weeks with new features and new capabilities, says Landers. Low support costs, high responsiveness to users So much of mobile success depends on the ability to respond nimbly to user feedback. Responsiveness is everything. As Landers notes: We have excellent, deeply experienced mobile developers. But even at our skill level, a change that might take a week to implement in native code across platforms Titanium lets us do in an hour. Better than the HTML5 The flexibility of HTML5 would have been nice, says Landers. But the downside was performance. We wanted offline caching and we wanted the app to perform blissfully for every single person who uses it. With Appcelerator, through its native performance, we re getting the wonderful capabilities of the app and we also have all the native access to all the features on the phone that we want, and we get the cross-platform compatibility that we re looking for at the same time.

5 ABOUT GLAD TO HAVE YOU Headquartered in Santa Rosa Beach Florida, Glad to Have You creates apps, web tools and backend management systems for vacation rental management. The company was starting selling solutions in May, 2012 as a joint venture between Appcelerator partner Bizmosis, a social media and mobile solutions provider, and 360 Blue Properties, a vacation rental management company based in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
