2 conference A new knowledge-sharing facility within the United Nations System This Conference Centre is available to the United Nations System of Organizations and other institutions for conferences, seminars, workshops and multimedia events. The Conference Centre is a modern and technically advanced meeting facility located in the heart of Europe, at the International Training Centre of the ILO in Turin, Italy. The building is set in parklands on the banks of the River Po, and has a beautiful view of the river and of the hills behind it.

3 centre The ILO International Training Centre has extensive experience in organizing international training activities, workshops, conferences and events. In addition to the facilities, a full package of services is available including organization, management and supervision of the event, and all services (branding, communication, facilitation, language services, secretarial support, transport and accommodation), provided by our international staff and high-quality suppliers. 6 campus Close to the historic heart of Turin, the campus is a unique and pleasant working environment, with conference, training and residential facilities distributed over 21 buildings set in ten hectares of riverside parkland. The world in one campus The various buildings are organized in five clusters representing the world's continents: Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania.

7 stay On this compact, functional campus, people came from all over the world to live and learn together in a stimulating international environment. Purpose-built rooms and state-of-the-art equipment help to maximize learning and knowledge-sharing. All residential services are available for a pleasant stay, including cultural and social events in the evenings and at week-ends.

8 share Additional conference facilities 30 classrooms (for 20 to 200 people), six with interpretation equipment and one with videoconference equipment. All are equipped with Internet, electronic presentation, slide show and video facilities. Use of CAT (computer assisted translation) software and online connection to United Nations and European linguistic thesaurus and databases.

11 Publishing services Graphic design and production: creation of promotional, information and training materials. Digital and offset printing. Cost-effective, timely, and high-quality printing of conference documents and publications. The printing shop can produce work ranging from black-and-white documents with simple binding to sophisticated full-colour publications with special binding, as well as banners, presentations, panels for exhibition and display. Photography: fullorad hoc photographic coverage. Multimedia: web design and development, video recording, production and post-production, creation and duplicating of CD-ROMs, DVDs and USB pen drives.

12 living Accomodation and catering 204 single bedrooms, 72 double bedrooms and 12 suites. Reception open 24 hours a day: reception desk, porter service, shuttle service to airport, taxi service, left luggage facilities, safe, sale of bus tickets and telephone cards. It caters to all kinds of tourism, including skiing and active lifestyles, high-end gastronomy and wine-tasting, world-class museums and architecture. The Egyptian Museum in Turin has the world's second-largest collection of Egyptian antiquities. The National Cinema Museum of Turin is the world's only museum of its kind. It traces the history of the moving image up to the present day and is located in Turin's tallest building, the Mole Antonelliana. In winter, the Alps offer ski resorts while in summer the Ligurian coast is just a drive away. The royal palace of La Venaria Reale, has been restored to its former glory and is included in UNESCO's Heritage List.

It is easy to reach from Geneva (3 hours by car), Milan, Rome, London, Paris, Brussels and Frankfurt (about 1 hour flight). By air By train By car Turin's Caselle airport is 16 kilometres north-west of the city centre. The campus shuttle service takes minutes to get to or from Caselle airport, and little more than an hour to or from Milan's Malpensa airport. Turin has three railway stations: Porta Nuova, in the city centre (about 15 minutes by taxi or bus from the campus); Porta Susa (about 20 minutes); and Lingotto (about 10 minutes). All the motorways bring you on to Turin's ring road ("tangenziale"). We recommend taking the exit marked "Corso Unità d'italia". The campus is about a kilometre after that exit. Parking is available.
