No special precautions are considered necessary. Inhalation: Product is granular but naturally contains a proportion of dust particles, a small percentage of which may be of respirable size. GSE Guidance Note EH40 which is published annually by the Health 7 Safety Executive give s advice on occupational exposure limits. This product is not listed in EH40 and has an occupational exposure standard of: (OES mg m-3 8-hour TWA) Total Inhalable Dust Respirable Dust 10 5 Below these concentrations in air the product can be considered as non-hazardous. No special protection is required but suitable respiratory masks are recommended in working environments where high dust levels may be created. Therefore, wear respiratory protection and protective clothing appropriate for such liquids. Exercise extreme care when handling, storing or disposing of absorbent materials containing such liquids to avoid personal injury and environmental harm.
