Lisa- Marie Vlietstra [1990 Blaricum NL] Graduated this year at the department of Fine Art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and took part in the Honors Program Cracking Cobra, a collaborative project between the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and the Cobra Museum in Vlietstra shows a short film of autobiographical nature in which she explores the personal heritage of her main characters. His sculptures, paintings and installations allow him to discover past and present symbols that navigate the imagination, human spirit and essence of life. Adrian Mazzarolo [1990 Pato Branco BR] Studied at the Santa Marcelina College in Sao Paulo, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and graduated this year from the Fine Art department at the Royal Academy in The Hague. His work is concerned with a total experience within film, through the articulation of its wicked language. Did you like cutting chicken with scissors? 2014, HD Video 1080 dp, Thomas van Rijs [1986 Naarden NL] Graduated from the Fine Art department at the Royal Academy in The Hague. Creates new, very personal worlds through dioramas, models and drawings that go beyond reality. Rijs experiences in this enclave are often shaped by historical examples such as the tragic polar explorers Captain Scott and Salomon August Andrée. Her spray paintings are derived from everyday utensils and are the result of a long process that lead to distinctive compositions and colorful effigies. She tries to free these objects from their everyday function and enhance a theatrical, stage- like feeling with the use of color, light and non- focus focus. Shows an installation that reflects on her personal physical and emotional view on the complex landscape of conflict in Israel. His installations interact between publication, sculpture and installation and results in a kind of visual poetry that reflects on presenting, representing and facilitating art and exhibitions in general. 50 things one might encounter during an exhibition, 2014, variable dimensions +/- 200 cm x 180 cm, 1/3 14. Goof Kloosterman [1989 Veghel NL] Graduated from the Fine Art department at the HKU. His visual statements unfolds in a range of artistic disciplines and technical performances. Kloosterman overwhelms the viewer on themes like human thought, action, philosophy and politics with an utmost sobriety. Bernard van Dongen [1971 Geertruidenberg NL] Originally trained as a lawyer at the University of Leiden, Van Dongen has been employed in various industries. In recent years he has started to focus on photography at the Sint Joost Academy. His project Realness explores different ways of reproducing the copy by making it equal to discipline, power and control. Realness, 2014, variable media and dimensions
6 16. Koes Staassen [1985 NL] Graduated from the Fine Art department at St. Joost Academy in s- Hertogenbosch. His work consists of graphite drawings on metallic paper that depict shiny seductive surfaces and objects. Van Dongen tries to capture the dark beauty of shiny and aesthetic elements in the world around him. Most parts of her work revolves around the intimate, loving and secure bond of family and is aimed on a universal recognition of this bond.
