Prior to using PaySphere, I used Paychex for 5+ years. I always found their system to be cumbersome and the fact I had to call in my payroll was a constant source of frustration. With that said, I continued to use them because I feared changing would be difficult and a business distraction. After a final bit of frustration, I decided to explore my options and reviewed the services from many different providers. After thorough research and checking multiple references, I made the decision to move our payroll services to PaySphere. The transition was incredibly simple and your online system is amazing. If I had known how easy it was to change and how great of a provider you were, I would have moved a LONG time ago! This first payroll was so NOT what I expected. I expected hours of staring at screens, guessing what the next step in the process would be and fearing that either no one would get paid or I d somehow pay everyone twice. What you gave me was Jackie! We did a WebEx so she could walk me through the process, answer any questions I had and correct anything that came up all on my own computer screen. Even though this was my first payroll run with you guys, it was still as fast as a good day with the other guys. Jackie also made the entire transition seamless. She gave me a list of things to gather from our current system and then took that and built our two companies into the system. We did an initial WebEx to load the system and go through the screens and then encouraged me to play with it in order to get comfortable. This really helped get me comfortable with sitting down to do the first payroll. Your approach has been nothing like my experience with the other guys. My first payroll with them, was good luck, call us if you need us (and that was after I had to steal the previous person s certificate since it would take me 2-3 weeks to secure mine). I have never gotten comfortable with their processes, I hated waiting for the hours to be transmitted from one system into the next; I hated waiting 1-2 hours (or in one case a day) for payroll to be finalized especially when I realized I had a mistake right after I submitted. Ugh! The other guys kept trying to sell me on taking over my 401k, or HR products, or other things that were going to make my life as an administrator easier. But I couldn t even get a GL report from them without upgrading to a new platform. That would have made my life easier. I look forward to implementing the other pieces with PaySphere; GL reports that I can pull into Quickbooks, PTO tracking, 401k reports to our TPA, etc. Your level of service has been exceptional and I know these will be handled just as effortlessly.
