except December PLEASE VISIT OUR NOARC WEBSITE ======================================== and SPEAKING OF HISTORY... how did you like reading all about the events happening in January in the January issue of CQ, which just arrived in the mail this past week...

Our Club President had these comments... I had noticed that for several months I had not receive CQ. That was kind of OK because I get QST, NCJ, QRP Quarterly, AMSAT Journal, News, not to mention stuff like National Geographic...So I really didn't care. Just for fun I called CQ and told them the good news about getting the January issue and asked about February and March. I got a nice spiel about the problems they had discontinuing two other magazines and how that confused the printer and he is catching up, I will get February soon and they will combine March and Aprilextend my subscription. So I said "You just told me what they told you to say like they did to Susan Rice" I got a brief silence and muttered agreement. Bob, N4CU ITEMS FOR SALE I bought these special (top-of-the-line) items as my retirement present and since have had a change in plans. These have NEVER been on the air. (I have kept them inside my house/radio room.) The Alpha 8410 sells for $5,750 The Palstar AT-5K sells for $1, The DL5K sells for $ This totals at: $7, I will sell these for $6, OBO This price includes hand delivery within reasonable range from Huntsville, AL. Or, I will reduce this price to compensate towards your driving expense. I have the documents, boxes, etc. that came with these. If interested, please call my cell phone, listed below. I bought these items with the strategy that you buy the best

once and you're done. Hopefully, this will work for your circumstance. Thanks. 72/73, Craig W. Behrens--NM4T (256) (My Cell #) FOR SALE: ALSO HAVE A HY-GAIN 204 BA --$ Original Message From: Tom Hardison To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, February 18, :42 PM Subject: [Contest] Equipment Sale Equipment for sale (moving) K0XG Rotating Tower System. This is an excellent operating system. I have 3 guy ring bearings, the base motor/bearing assembly, and controller with control cables to the tower. Not sure of the exact length of the control cable but over 120 feet. The controller looks as new and has been mounted under the shack and out of the weather. There are 9 sets of guys. They are phillystran guys and then to ¼ EHS guy wire nearer to the turnbuckles/ground supports. Also 1/2 Andrews hardline feet plus. Check out: k0xg.com and also reviews at Antennas: 2---Hy-Gain DIS-72, 40 meter 2 element 2---Hy-Gain LJ-205BA, 20 meter 5 element 2---Hy-Gain LJ-155BA, 15 meter 5 element 2---Hy-Gain LJ-105BA, 10 meter 5 element 1---Hy-Gain TH-7DX tri-band 10/15/20m 1---Cushcraft D-3W WARC band 1---Cushcraft 4 element 15 meters 1---M2 5element 6meter beam meter vertical, 100 feet of 6 inch tubing, and base

insulator. It was a full 1/4 wave until a storm 2 years ago, so had to go with top loading. This antenna performs very well using about 40 radials. Misc: Rohn 45, Rohn 25, stack matches, antenna remote switches, rotors and control boxes, lots of coax and control cable. 13 And we thank Mr. Kenny Seiler the Manager/Owner of the Mattox General Store for letting us plant 4 of these 5 poles on his land. WANT TO BUILD A HF WIRE ANTENNA... it could be a teck night program..and you could use the W4AAZ antenna farm to test it. We have four 45 foot utility poles set in a rectangular area about 120 ft by 140 ft. And a 50 foot pole set about 50 feet behind the Dorcas Fire Station #42. The 50 footer has a length of angle iron(donated by K4QBH) at the top. We'll put some vhf antennas up there. And it will be the center post for feed lines. Check out the 160 meter wire we put up there.

Each of the 45 footers has a 7 foot cross arm of a 2x6 and there are pulleys at each end with two ropes. So each pole can be part of four different antennas. How about a 4 or 5 element 40 meter beam (made of wire of course)? The four corner post have four ropes (two per pulley) so there are lots of combinations of antennas we can put up. Cal W4GMH Thank you to our webmaster N6COP - PHIL for putting a lot of interesting links on our website FOR EXAMPLE...Here's info on area Clubs and Repeaters WANT INFO about VHF NETS or HF NETS
