2 President-Elect Daniel Misa, BSN, RN I graduated from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in May, While at Rutgers, I was involved in the College of Nursing-Student Senate as Class Secretary for one year and Senate Secretary for two years. Currently, I work as a Registered Nurse in the emergency room at Chilton Hospital in Pompton Plains, since January I have been a member of the ANA and NJSNA since July 2010 and a member of the Emergency Nurses Association and the New Jersey Emergency Nurses Association since February 2010.In February 2012, I was appointed Secretary of Region One NJSNA. I wish to run for the positon of President Elect to continue the growth of Region One and its members. Treasurer SANDRA FOLEY, MSN, BSN To serve as the NJSNA Region One Treasurer will be an honor. The Treasurer position will be my first experience in the NJSNA and Ilook forward to this opportunity. I recently graduated from the College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE) receiving my Master s of Science in Nursing Degree (MSN). Three years prior to starting my MSN degree I had attended CSE receiving my Bachelor of Science Degree. I have been a member of Sigma Theta Tau since 2009 and the Emergency Nurses Association since Currently I work at Saint Clare s Hospital in the Emergency Department at the Denville and Dover campuses.

3 Secretary (Write In Candidates Needed) Vice President Communications FRANCESCA A NORDIN, RN-C, APN My desire to be involved with Region I NJSNA is because I desire to align myself with nurses who care about each other & nursing practice AND to learn more concerning policy issues important to nursing practice. When I attended the State Annual Convention in 2011 I became more convinced that being active in our nursing organization is very important. There is so much to learn about & devise interventions for concerning Nursing. After 2 years as Treasurer for our Region and working on the By Laws Committee I want to serve our Region further as Communication VP in order to assist the members of our Region receive important information. I will be as concise as possible to present same. The most vital role in this process I foresee is to partner closely with the leadership of our Region to filter info down to members & to send info from members back up to State NJSNA & ANA or to other organizations as indicated. I have been a Pediatric Nurse since entry into nursing in 1983 as a RN, BSN graduate of SUNY Downstate. In 2006 I secured an Rutgers & PNP Primary Care Certification through Pediatric Nurse Credentialing Board as I desired to be a Nurse Practitioner ever since I choose to become a nurse. Currently I practice FT as an a Pediatric Practice in Perth Amboy. Former areas of practice include inpatient, clinic, care coordination for special needs children, adjunct clinical instructor, child protective services and school nursing.

4 Vice President Education MARY ELLEN LEVINE, BSN, RN My name is Mary Ellen Levine and I have received my AND, BSN and School Nurse/Health Educator certification. I am a member of Sigma Theta Tau since I am presently employed with Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice and am a Master s of Nursing Education student with Walden University. I have been a member of the ANA and Region One NJSNA for just a few months and look forward to becoming more involved. I am seeking the nomination for the Vice President of Education. Warren County Coordinator NONA WOLOSIN, MSN, APN-BC, FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER Current Warren County Coordinator, Skylands Medical Group, MSN-University of Pennsylvania, 1980 and BSN-University of Delaware. Past President Region One NJSNA My interest in this position stems from my ongoing commitment to advancing professionalism on a regional level, and my desire to help provide benefits of membership in NJSNA that are tangible to the individual member. Our local region has always tried to reach out to nurses in our area and promote professional growth through education and fellowship, and I would like to continue to try to involve more Warren County nurses in our organization.

5 Passaic County Coordinator KAREN RAMSDEN, MSN, RN Professor of Nursing with teaching area of Maternity and Psychiatric Nursing at the Passaic Campus of Passaic Community College. Graduated with a BSN from Seton Hall University in 1976 and a MSN from Seton Hall University in I have been a Passaic County Coordinator for Region One NJSNA. I am interested in continuing my position as Passaic County Coordinator in order to assist the region in reaching out to the Passaic County area. With renewed interest in serving the community, I feel that I have the experience necessary to facilitate this region s growth. Nominating Committee DORIS MALLETTE, BSN, RN I graduated from Meharry Medical College, Nashville, Tennessee. It was a combined Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing college which closed in Prior to that, I attended Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina for two years. I retried from active nursing after 38 years of inpatient behavioral health nursing. I have been active with Region One NJSNA as a member of the nominating committee for many years. My interest in the nominating committee continues in trying to get nurses in our region to join and take an active role in their association and leadership.
