2 THE ADONIS SOLUTION MODEL HOST INSTALLATION / ONBOARD INSTALLATION FULL REPLICATION (LARGER VESSELS): Database Server: MSSQL Server 2008 Standard SR2, Hardware Requirements: Recommendation: Memory: 6GB RAM (or more) Hard drive: 120GB or more for the Adonis database (Estimated a GB database on office side. multiplied by 3 to have enough space for a backup to disk and restore as a secondary database) ONBOARD INSTALLATION PARTIAL REPLICATION (SMALLER VESSELS) Database: MSSQL Server 2008 Express SR2 Hardware Requirements: Recommendation: Hard drive: Database will probably not grow over 10GB Memory: 1 GB RAM reserved for SQL Server for maximum performance (so 2-3 GB RAM for the entire server may be enough) Information Sheet Adonis Technical Requirements 1

3 ADONIS PERSONNEL MANAGER This is the main application - a Windows client executable running on any standard Windows PC. The application is normally installed on file server and accessed by the client using a desktop/menu shortcut. The application is developed in: Embarcadero Delphi 2007 plus 3rd party components. The application is compatible with Windows 7 Areo giving it a modern look and feel and possibility to change layout of the application. CREW PORTAL (WEB/ INTRANET) Developed in Microsoft.Net 4.0 Microsoft Internet Information Server 7.5 (Microsoft server 2008 r2) Hardware / Software requirements: Standard windows server requirement. Supported browsers: Explorer, Mozilla, Chrome ADONIS REPLICATOR This runs as a service & can be the database server or the file server. In addition a program called Replicator monitor is installed to monitor the service running on different sites (this requires a fixed network connection to the vessels). Adonis Replicator Service. 3 Citrix application servers The overall CPU usage on the VMWare server estimate is between 10 and 12.5% during daytime (or consuming MHz) with a disk activity around 2.5MBps. For storage (hard drives) we recommend datastores on both raid 1, 10 and 50. SPECIFIC REGARDING EACH VIRTUAL MACHINE.
