16 panagenda idna: Database usage The "bubble chart" shows how alive and used the environment is. Every bubble is a database and its color indicates the type, like mail or application. Small bubbles are used by few users, large bubbles by many. The X-axis shows read t r a ff i c, t h e Y- a x i s shows write traffic - so databases on the top right are have most network I/O while ones on the lower left are rarely used. 16

17 panagenda idna: Database sizes See your databases' storage requirements categorized by size and database type, thereby offering immediate insight as to which types of databases consume the most disk space. 17

18 panagenda idna: Network traffic O b s e r v e d n e t w o r k traffic between clients and servers over time. This allows to identify regular and irregular p e a k s e a s i l y, f o r example. You can interact with this chart by zooming into selected time spans. 18

19 panagenda idna: Data volumes paired with geo-information This demo visualizes optional idna functionality to further enrich collected data with HR data and/or geographical i n f o r m a t i o n. T h i s facilitates a broad range of possible visualizations, such as displaying reports and charts as per region, c o u n t r y, c i t y o r department, as well as adapting content according to authorization in idna portal. 19

20 panagenda idna: Cloud and webification potential This demo visualizes optional idna functionality to integrate Domino web log data. This enables various reports around web and mobile usage. This example shows what types of databases are used by rich clients only, both rich clients and browsers, or by web browsers only (desktop or mobile). Apps that are accessed from rich clients usually involve higher risks in e.g. Cloud and migration scenarios, compared to apps that are already usable 20 via browsers.

Every bubble is a mail domain and their color indicate different Toplevel domain names like.com,.de,.co.uk, etc. The bubble size indicates the amount of users who have been in contact with this mail domain. The X-axis shows number of received, the Y-axis shows number of sent messages - so with domains on the top right, lots of messages have been exchanged while ones on the lower left are rarely communicated 21 with.

The X-axis shows number of recipients per sent message, the Y-axis shows percentage of total messages delivered to recipients. With that one can recognize how many internal and external recipients are addressed per sent message and which percentage each category is out of 100%. 22

The X-axis shows message sizes (1B 8GB), the Y-axis shows percentage of total delivered message volume. This gives a good overview of what message sizes are sent to internal and external recipients and what amount of traffic each message causes to a multiplied number of addressees. 23

25 Hybrid: Onboarding methods OPT (Onboarding Planning Tool) Used to gather and fix potential problems in mail files at the start of the transfer process Time spent fixing issues here can save lots of time and aggravation later OTT (Onboarding Transition Tool) Used to manage the transfer of batches of mail files to the IBM data center To get access to OPT/OTT an IBM business partner needs to take classes and certifications OPT / OTT has been developed to enable Partner led Cloud service provisioning with data transfer 25

26 Hybrid: Onboarding methods MOM Tool (Mail Onboarding Manager) moves your on-premises IBM Notes mail data to the cloud provisions new or existing Connections Cloud accounts with SmartCloud Notes mail creates a replica of your on-premises Domino directory in the tool locally transfers mail files and assigns subscriptions is organized into 5 pages, each of which provides information or capabilities that step through the onboarding process controls when and how mail files are moved and accounts are provisioned monitors the onboarding progress on the tool's Dashboard or the Detail view on the Staging page can be used without the help of an IBM business partner More information: 26

36 Hybrid: IBM Notes Client onboarding Client Configuration tool (config.nsf) Checks for the following information (besides many other things see more info link below) The client is a version supported for IBM SmartCloud Notes access The config.nsf file contains information needed to perform the configuration The downloaded data is less than 24 hours old Confirms that the user is logged in using the ID that they will use in the service. Creates a wildcard Connection document that the client will use to connect to a mail server in the Cloud through the proxy server in the service. The server name in the Connection is */your_certifier, where your_certifier is the name of the OU certifier you provided for your mail servers during Cloud service configuration.
