Program Development Humanidad Counseling Services (HCS), Santa Rosa, CA ( ). I was the co-founder, director, and supervisor of Sonoma County s first forensic Marriage Family Therapist training program. In affiliation with the family and conciliatory courts (as well as other agencies), Humanidad provided bilingual, multicultural counseling services for individuals who otherwise would be ineligible for treatment. All MFT trainees (6) were SSU psychology department graduates currently enrolled in various MA programs. I developed and implemented all program policy, protocol, recruitment, networking, and training curriculum. I provided all clinical supervision, and interfaced with each MA program s internship coordinator. Humanidad Therapy and Education Services (HTES). Santa Rosa, CA (2013 Present) HTES is a multicultural community mental health agency and Marriage and Family Therapist training program. HTES offers low-fee, no-fee psychological services in Sonoma County. Additionally, HTES offers courtaffiliated services such as supervised visitation, therapeutic supervised visitation, and mediation. We are a participant in the Via Esperanza Family Resource Center at Cook Middle School, where we provide groups, workshops and 1:1

5 counseling in Spanish and English for the parents and families there. HTES also provides groups and counseling for the students at Cook Middle School. As a therapist mentorship program our focus is on providing culturally aware, qualified therapists to serve diverse populations. Most MFT trainees, interns and volunteers (23) are SSU graduates currently enrolled in various MA programs, or accruing experience for graduate application. I developed and implemented all program policy, protocol, recruitment, networking, and training curriculum. As the Executive and Clinical Director, I provide all supervision, some direct services, and interface with each MA program s internship coordinator. Community engagement, program development, and training volunteers, trainees, and interns, are inclusive in my founding role. Humanidad is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Our funders have included the John Jordan Foundation, Measure O (gang prevention), Santa Rosa City School District, the office of Sonoma County Human Development, and the Sonoma County Bar Association/ Family Law Committee.
