4 1. INTRODUCTION This overview lists more than 1400 Commission evaluations and Impact Assessments (IA) completed in the years and it also records certain evaluation-related studies. Details of these studies are available in the Annual Evaluation Reviews for the corresponding years 1 and the IAs are available at the IA website 2. The overview tables use the following classifications and symbols: Classification: The studies are listed in order of Policy Area, ABB activity 3 (heading and number) and the year in which the study was finalised, thereby indicating the analyses available for each activity. Some evaluations concern more than one ABB activity within a given Policy Area. If they concern two ABB activities, they are listed under both. If they cover more than two ABB activities, they are listed as cross-cutting for the Policy Area. Legend: Evaluations (interim and ex post) are indicated with normal script. Prospective studies such as IA and ex ante evaluations are indicated with italic script. Evaluation-related studies are marked with an asterisk (*). Activities without budget lines are indicated as AWBL, cf. footnote The ABB (Activity Based Budgeting) classification is that used in the 2009-budget, cf.
