In the Open Hairdressing Championships (OMFP) participants start in two categories: a) Junior category young hairdressers up to 21 years of age. Participants are registered by chambers of crafts, guilds, schools as well as other institutions and organisations b) Senior category persons who are over 21 years of age and hold an apprentice title or its equivalent, or a champion s diploma as a hairdresser. 3. Make-up and hair extension and thickening competitions - without limitations 4. 2 c) The Organisational Office acknowledges the receipt of the application form. Upon registration, participants present their identification documents, in the case of seniors, also an original or copy of a document acknowledging professional qualifications and confirmation of paying an entry fee. d) Entry fee: o Junior category... PLN Bank account details: WIELKOPOLSKA IZBA RZEMIEŚNICZA W POZNANIU with a note wpisowe OMPF 2015 Poznań In order to apply for the Champion of Poland title, participants are required to take part in competitions marked with * in the Regulations: a) in junior category, on men s hairdressing, participants are required to take part in two competitions on training heads, b) in senior category, on men's hairdressing, participants are required to take part in two competitions on training heads, c) in junior category, on women's hairdressing, participants are required to take part in two competitions on training heads, d) in senior category, on women s hairdressing, participants are required to take part in two competitions on training heads. e) in professional make-up, participants are required to take part in two competitions on models f) in hair extension and thickening one competition on a model g) winners of the first three places in the hairdressing competition for the Champion of Poland title will be awarded medals and cups on the Championships' Main Stage. 3 JUNIOR CATEGORY 1st competition for the title of the Champion of Poland SENIOR CATEGORY MEN S HAIRDRESSING Trendy hairdressing and styling Creative hairstyle Hairstyle that may be worn by a customer and is masculine. Artistic and fancy hairstyles are forbidden. 1. Hair must be wet and teased back. 2. Hair length at least 5 cm on the top and 3 cm on neck and next to ears 3. Colour any number of colours-the use of colouring hairsprays is not allowed 4. Classic head shape, hair structure must be distinctive 5. Hairstyling - All tools for cutting hair and products are allowed 6. Hair extension and attaching extensions forbidden 7. Make-up consistent with men s fashion, not exaggerated. 8. Time for completion: - Seniors 30 minutes - Juniors 35 minutes Total scores NOTE! Participants carry out the competition: - JUNIORS on a dummy s head (1 pc.) ) - SENIORS on a dummy s head (1 pc.) ) During the Committee s inspection, the dummy must sit facing the mirror. 4 2nd competition For the title of the Champion of Poland SENIOR CATEGORY MEN S HAIRDRESSING Technical category CLASSIC CUTTING AND STYLING 1. Hair must be wet Prior to the beginning of the competition, the Chairman of the Inspection Committee gives the participants 2 minutes for wetting hair that must be teased back. The Inspection Committee verifies if the order has been performed, if not - the Committee will wet the hair. 2. Hair length obligatory cutting of at least 2 cm and on the edges (sides and back) the hair must be at least 3 cm long prior to the beginning of the competition. 3. Cutting tools such as hair shavers and hair-cutting scissors are forbidden, all other tools for doing the cutting are allowed. 4. Colour- hair must be black 5. Cutting of neck and contour must be layered classically 6. Products all products for styling are allowed 7. Make-up referring to men s fashion, not exaggerated, hair extension forbidden 8. Time for completion: 40 minutes 9. Scoring: maximum 30 points, minimum scores - depending on the number of participants. 10. Total scores NOTE! 5 Individual competition JUNIOR CATEGORY SENIOR CATEGORY TRENDY MEN'S HAIRSTYLE Styling of long hair 1. Prior to the beginning of the competition, hair must be wet and teased back. In case of failure to obey the regulation, the Inspection Committee has the right to wet and comb hair. 2. Hair length at least 5 cm on the top and 3 cm on sides and back of head - cutting forbidden 3. Any tools and products for styling allowed, attached and extended hair forbidden, any number of colours, hair colour sprays forbidden. 4. Make-up consistent with men s fashion, not exaggerated 5. The Committee will evaluate the final effect together with colour Time for completion: Juniors 20 minutes. Seniors 15 minutes. - The Inspection Committee allows additional 3 minutes for preparation (clothing, set-up of the head) for evaluation NOTE! Participants carry out the competition: - on a dummy's head During the Committee s Inspection, the dummy sits facing the mirror. 6 2nd competition For the title of the Champion of Poland JUNIOR CATEGORY MEN S HAIRDRESSING STYLING OF CLASSIC HAIRSTYLE Technical category Participants do the styling of classic hairstyle. Hairstyle up, no side parting. 1. Wet hair Prior to the beginning of the competition, the Chairman of the Inspection Committee gives the participants 2 minutes for wetting model s hair. The hair must be teased back. The Inspection Committee verifies if the order has been performed and if not, the hair will be wet by the Committee. 2. Hair length on top of the head 7 cm, around ears and neck classically layered. Cutting has to be done prior to the beginning of the competition (cutting on stage forbidden). 3. Styling all styling tools and products allowed. 4. Colour hair must be uniform black. 5. Hair extension and attaching extensions forbidden 6. Make-up consistent with men s fashion, not exaggerated. 7. Time for completion: 25 minutes 8. Scoring: maximum 30 points, minimum scores depending on the number of participants. NOTE! Participants carry out the competition: on a dummy s head During the Committee s inspection, the dummy must sit facing the mirror. 7 1st competition For the title of the Champion of Poland JUNIOR CATEGORY SENIOR CATEGORY WOMEN S HAIRDRESSING CREATIVE HAIRSTYLE Participants are to do a daily creative hairstyle. 1. Wet hair prior to the beginning of the competition, models hair must be wet and teased back. 2. Cutting forbidden 3. Products all products are allowed. 4. Tools any styling tools are allowed. 5. Hair colour any colour is allowed Hair colour sprays are forbidden 6. Clothing make-up and accessories must be of daily character. 7. Time for completion: - Juniors 25 minutes - Seniors 20 minutes. - Scoring: maximum 30 points, minimum scores depending on the number of participants. NOTE to competition 1, 2 Performance of the 1st and 2nd competition: - JUNIORS ON ONE DUMMY S HEAD - SENIORS ON ONE DUMMY S HEAD - The Inspection Committee will mark the heads to avoid changing During the Committee s inspection, the dummy must sit facing the mirror. For failure to obey the rules of the REGULATIONS, each member of the Inspection Committee has the right to give a participant up to 3 penalty points for each deviation. 8 JUNIOR CATEGORY 2nd competition For the title of the Champion of Poland SENIOR CATEGORY WOMEN S HAIRDRESSING HAIR BY NIGHT Participants do a smart evening hairstyle. Models return on stage with unchanged hairstyles from the competition creative hairstyle. On a given signal, participants comb hair to its initial look. (Members of the jury from the Inspection Committee verify if the orders have been performed) 1. Participants may wet, style and blow up hair. Hairpieces must be harmoniously nested in hair. Full wigs are forbidden. 2. All decorative materials (ribbons etc.) must be placed separately on the tables. Hairpieces have to be equipped with hitches, but cannot be decorated and specially prepared earlier. No single hairpieces, attached makeshift to hair, will not be accepted. 3. The jury from the Inspection Committee will verify if the orders have been performed. At least one hairpiece must be used, however not more than three. Hairpieces cannot cover more than 40% of the head. 4. Clothing Clothing and make-up must be evening. 5. Hair colour any. Hair colour sprays are forbidden. 6. Decorations pieces of jewellery, made of hair or similar fibres forbidden. The jury verifies if the instructions have been followed. 7. Time for completion: - Juniors 40 minutes - Seniors 35 minutes Scoring: maximum 30 points, minimum scores depending on the number of participants. NOTE to competition: 1, 2 Performance of 1st and 2nd competition: - JUNIORS ON ONE DUMMY S HEAD from the 1st competition - SENIORS ON A ONE DUMMY S HEAD from the 1st competition During the Committee s inspection, the dummy must sit facing the mirror. For failure to obey the rules of the REGULATIONS, each member of the Inspection Committee has the right to give a participant up to 3 penalty points for each deviation. 9 Individual competition JUNIOR CATEGORY WOMEN S HAIRDRESSING. MARYLIN MONROE S WET WAVES AND CURLS on training heads 1. Prior to the beginning of the competition, dummies hair must be wet and teased back. 2. Hair length from 20 up to max. 30 cm - from roots to ends/ on whole head/ 3. We do the waves with side parting, then waves on both sided on the head to an ear. Put your hair together in curls flat 2 rows from the top of the head in two directions. From occiput s side - spiral curls in two directions. 4. You must not use brocade. 5. All products are allowed. 6. Time for completion: 35 minutes. Scoring: Maximum 30 points, minimum scores depending on the number of participants. 9

10 INDIVIDUAL competition JUNIOR CATEGORY WOMEN S HAIRDRESSING LONG HAIR BRIDAL HAIRSTYLE Classic long hair bridal hairstyle done on a dummy 1. Dummies hair must be dry, loose and teased back. 2. All products are allowed. 3. All styling tools are allowed. 4. Hair colour any. hair colour sprays and brocades are forbidden. 5. Hair weaves and plaits are forbidden. 6. The hairstyle is to be smart and classic. 7. Clothing clothing and make-up have to be bridal. 8. All decorative materials are allowed, however they cannot cover more than 25% of the hairstyle. Hairpieces, extensions and wigs are forbidden. 9. Time for completion: 25 minutes. 1. Scoring: maximum 30 points, minimum scores depending on the number of participants. NOTE! for both individual competitions Competitions are carried out on dummies heads. During the Committee s inspection, the dummy must sit facing the mirror. For failure to obey the rules of the REGULATIONS, each member of the Inspection Committee has the right to give a participant up to 3 penalty points for each deviation. 11 INDIVIDUAL Competition JUNIORS CATEGORY WOMEN S HAIRDRESSING BRAIDS AND PLAITS ON LONG HAIR Done on a dummy, formal hairstyle with elements of plaits and braids (recommended the combination of these two forms) 1. Dummies hair must be loose and teased back (wet or dry at participant s discretion) 2. Hairstyle no extensions, done exclusively with hands, combs and brushes. 3. Hair colour any hair colour. Colour sprays are forbidden. 4. You must not use brocade and decorative spray. 5. Make-up relating to formal hairstyle. 6. All products are allowed. Time for completion: 30 minutes. 7. Scoring: maximum 30 points, minimum scores depending on the number of participants. NOTE! The competition is carried out on a dummy. During the Committee s inspection, the dummy must sit facing the mirror. For failure to obey the rules of the REGULATIONS, each member of the Inspection Committee has the right to give a participant up to 3 penalty points for each deviation. 12 INDIVIDUAL competition SENIOR CATEGORY WOMEN S HAIRDRESSING LONG HAIR OPEN 1. Prior to the beginning of the competition dummy s hair must be dry, straight, loose and teased back. 2. All styling tools are allowed. 3. All products are allowed. 4. Hair colour any colour. Colour sprays are forbidden. 5. All decorations made of hair and hairpieces are forbidden. The jury verifies if the given instructions are followed. 6. After finished work, no hairclips, hairpines, etc. may be left on hair. 7. Time for completion: 25 minutes. 8. Scoring: maximum 30 points, minimum scores depending on the number of participants. INDIVIDUAL competition SENIOR CATEGORY WOMEN S HAIRDRESSING HAIR UP (BUN) 1. Prior to the beginning of the competition, the dummy has dry, straight, loose and teased back hair. 2. All styling products and tools are allowed. 3. All hair should be put together. 4. Hair colour all colours are allowed. Colour sprays are forbidden. 5. All hairpieces, wigs and attached extensions are forbidden. 6. Hair decorations are allowed, however they cannot cover more than 20% of the hairstyle. 7. The hairstyle should be evening. 8. Time for completion: 30 minutes. 9. Scoring: maximum 30 points, minimum scores depending on the number of participants. NOTE to both individual competitions Individual competitions are carried out on a dummy. During the Committee s inspection, the dummy must sit facing the mirror. For failure to obey the rules of the REGULATIONS, each member of the Inspection Committee has the right to give a participant up to 3 penalty points for each deviation. 13 Anita Folaron s School of Professional Make-up and Styling For the title of the Champion of Poland 1st competition Professional Make-up Linear make-up Graphic style make-up. 1. A model s skin must be clean, without foundation. Prior to the beginning of the competition, the Inspection Committee verifies if the skin is clean, without correcting fluid or foundation. Applying cream or base used before the make-up is allowed. 2. Products. Products used in classic make-up /eyeshadows, powders, blushes, mascaras etc./ are allowed. Possibility to apply only tufts or entire tapes of black eyelashes. 3. Specification. Make-up must be based on contrast, pure form and precision in drawing the line. Colour must be in line with forms and shapes. Drawing must be made within eyebrows limits drawing beyond forehead and cheeks line is forbidden. Variations on theme are allowed. 4. Clothing. Should be fashionable, matching the character of the make-up. 5. Hairstyle hairstyle concept harmoniously matching the model s make-up and clothing. 6. Time for completion: 40 minutes. 7. Evaluation: Precision in doing the make-up, which stylistically matches the model's hairstyle, clothing and beauty type, is evaluated. 8. Scoring. maximum 30 points, minimum scores depending on the number of participants. NOTE! Participants do the make-up on a model who is over 18 years of age. A model must not assist a participant in the process of doing the make-up. The model is only allowed to hold tools and cosmetics. During the Committee s inspection, the model must sit facing the jury member. Permanent make-up is forbidden. For failure to obey the rules and arrangements included in the Regulations, each member of the Inspection Committee has the right to give a participant up to 3 penalty points for each deviation. Disqualification in the event of changing the allotted posts. 13

14 Anita Folaron s School of Professional Make-up and Styling For the title of the Champion of Poland 2nd competition Creative Make-up Folk make-up Folk make-up inspired by a Polish folk costume. 1. A model's skin must be clean, without foundation. Prior to the beginning of the competition, the Inspection Committee verifies if the skin is clean, without correcting fluid or foundation. Applying of cream or base used before make-up is allowed. 2. Products. The make-up may be done in any technique, with products used in make-up /eyeshadows, powders, blushes, mascaras, artificial eyelashes etc./. Reinforced means of impression, non-typicality and creativity are allowed. 3. Specification. Inspired by Polish folk costume with special emphasis on colour and method of manipulating the colour. Replica costumes are excluded use of original folk costumes in the traditional form is forbidden. 4. Executions of concepts cannot transform into various make-up and fantasy forms. They cannot however cross the border, from which on they will be treated as bodypaint. 5. Clothing, hairstyle, head cover. Author s individual statement regarding stylisation, which refers to the folk theme and forms a homogenous composition. 6. Make-up time: 60 minutes 7. Evaluation. Evaluated are: masterful make-up, aesthetics of expression, harmony, original idea and clean workmanship. Compositional and stylistic relation with the hairstyle, clothing/ headwear/ and make-up concept styled for folk will also be significant. 8. Scoring maximum 30 points, minimum scores - depending on the number of participants. NOTE! Participants do make up on a model who is over 18 years of age. A model must not assist a participant in the process of doing the make-up. The model is only allowed to hold tools and cosmetics. During the Committee s inspection, the model must sit facing the jury member. Permanent make-up is forbidden. 14

Long Hair International Hair Extension Championships For the title of the Champion of Poland SENIOR CATEGORY Hair extension and thickening Hair extension and thickening on models hair The aim of this competition is to present the innovations in this area 1. The participant goes on the beginning platform with the model - the model's hair must be in one colour, straightened on whole head prior to the beginning of the competition. 2. Any hair length is allowed, however any earlier preparations are forbidden. 3. Hair extension. In a given time, a participant has to do extension and thickening of hair and create a trendy hairstyle. 4. Hair and equipment for extension the participant uses hair strand and technical tools. 5. Products Products for finishing styling are allowed and colour sprays are forbidden. 6. Tools all tools used for styling hair (e.g. hair dryers, hair straightener, "hot rolls" etc.) are allowed. 7. When evaluating, the jury takes the following things into account: extension result, ability to thicken hair and show various colour contrasts in hair (number of used strands) ability to cut and general creativity of the final result general image of the model, including clothing, make-up and their matching with the hairstyle 8. Time for make-up 80 minutes 9. Scoring maximum 30 points, minimum scores depending on the number of participants. 10. Disqualification in the event of failure to obey the arrangements of this Regulations. 16

17 3 1. The National Hairdressing and Cosmetic Committee of the Polish Craft Association establishes two judging committees to evaluate the tasks described in 2 and 3: a) women s hairdressing up to ten people, b) men s hairdressing up to ten people, c) make-up up to five people, d) hair extension up to five people. 2. To ensure that the course of the Championships is smooth and compliant with the arrangements of the Regulations, the National Hairdressing and Cosmetic Committee of the Polish Craft Association establishes two Inspection Committees: a) Women s hairdressing, consisting of up to five people, b) Men s hairdressing, consisting of up to five people, c) Make-up, consisting of up to three people. d) Hair extension and thickening, consisting of up to three people. 3. The Committees mentioned in items 1 and 2 act on the basis of the regulations established by the National Hairdressing and Cosmetic Committee of the Polish Craft Association Competition tasks shall be evaluated in a scale up to 30 points. The lower limit of points shall be determined on the day of Championships, adequately to the number of participants. Each jury member shall grant three highest scores, i.e. 30, 29 and 28 points, and three lowest scores, i.e. those depending on the determined lower limit of points. 2. If a participant fails to obey the rules of the Regulations, each member of the Inspection Committee has the right to give them a maximum of 3 points for each deviation. Participants may check the number of their penalty points on the list of results The total amount of jury s points, including penalty points, determines the rank of a participant applying got the title of the CHAMPION OF POLAND: Junior category women TWO competitions on dummies Junior category men TWO competitions on dummies Senior category women TWO competitions on dummies Senior category men TWO competitions on dummies Make-up TWO competitions on models Hair extension and thickening ONE competition on a model 2. The total amount of points for each competition, including penalty points, determines the rank of a participant in an individual competition. 6 Pursuant to a relevant regulation of the Minister of National Education, winners of the Polish Championships are exempt from the practical part of the apprentice exam from the discipline they have won. 7 If the number of participants in the competitions for the title of the Champion of Poland, both in junior and senior categories, is over 30, the Championships Organisers have allocated financial awards for the winners of 1st places.
