We support SCSI and Fibre Channel connections for the devices listed in this hardware compatibility guide as long as they are supported by a hardware vendor. We do not support storage devices on NetWorker unless they are listed in this hardware compatibility guide. We no longer maintain a list of supported HBA cards since HBA technology is mature and stable and does not cause any trouble with NetWorker. In Footnote 1 to this Hardware Compatibility Guide, we will only list specific HBA + driver combinations that we know cause trouble with NetWorker. We recommend you to check the availability of the latest firmware directly at the device manufacturer website. The best firmware to use in most cases is the latest production firmware available from the device manufacturer. Devices configurations marked "D" in the column called "Discontinued" have been discontinued by the hardware vendors but we still list them as supported by NetWorker for the OS versions qualified.
