2 Language School Delengua School is situated in the very centre of Granada. Recognized by CSN (Sweden), Delengua is a small dynamic school specialised in Spanish language and culture. Our team consists of young Spanish teachers graduated in language studies with appropriate teaching experience. Their preparation and passion to teach Spanish are lived both inside and outside of the classroom. Courses are orientated in communication and action: the main priority is effective communicational usage. As a result of dynamic Spanish courses involve participation from the students. The number per class, between 2 and 8 reinforces this methodology and makes the student-teacher relation close and fluent. 2

3 Granada Granada is the city of the Alhambra, a breathtaking palace that is the most outstanding reminiscence of Granada Arab period. Its Arab heritage is remarkable along its narrow and winding cobblestone streets. With inhabitants, Granada is the capital of the province with the same name and the seat of one of the greatest universities in Spain: University of Granada. Over students make Granada an exciting city with vibrant nightlife. Cafes, pubs, restaurants, terraces and a huge variety of tapas served with a glass of beer or wine can be found in every street. Among Granada s many cultural activities feature the International Theatre Festival, Tango Festival, International Jazz Festival, the Manuel de Fall a Auditorium s annual programme, Flamenco Festivals and the International Music and Dance Festival. The most famous celebrations are: Easter Week, the Cross Day (May), Granada Fair (June) and the Zaidín Festival. The environs of Granada are also a must see: Sierra Nevada Skiing Resort, Costa Tropical, Alpujarras mountains, Cordoba, Seville, etc. Escuela Delengua is situated in the heart of Granada, very close to the Cathedral, beside Plaza Nueva, at the foot of the Albayzín. 4 Courses You can choose to participate in the Spanish Course from 1 week to 12 months. Students with knowledge of Spanish can begin every Monday. Only absolute beginners have to start on the course dates indicated (see dates and prices table). Arrival is on Sunday a day before the Spanish course commences.departure is on Saturday, at midday, after the course ends. The prices are also applicable to the next year courses, on the condition that we receive your registration form before the One class in all cases lasts for 45 minutes. All study material; there is no additional cost for textbooks/photocopies etc. We assess your level of Spanish and on completion of your course we provide a certificate that states your level of Spanish and how many hours you have studied. If you need further practice with your Spanish we can organize language exchanges with native speakers.

7 Activities The activity programme will be an important part of your stay at Delengua as through the organized activities you will get a deep insight into the Spanish way of life as well as Granada itself and its surrounding area. Visits are guided by one of our teachers. 8 Arrival By plane: Please see our web page: Flights to Granada By bus: There are some International Coach Services that run routes to Granada (e.g. SAIA, Mundial). Please check the International Coach Services in your city. There are scheduled buses to Granada from Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Almería and Málaga. Between Málaga and Granada there is 1h and 45 min. By car: From Barcelona, you can take the AP7 motorway (with toll) to Alicante and then the A-92 motorway (free) to Granada. From Madrid take the A-4 motorway to Jaén, and then to Granada. By train: The best train route to Granada is from or via Madrid. 8
