Supervisors: Douglas Snyder, Ph.D., Robert Heffer, Ph.D. Group and Individual Therapist Brazos County Community Supervision and Corrections Department, Bryan, TX Conduct substance abuse evaluations, general psychological evaluations, and anger management evaluations and provide individual and group evidence-based interventions to adolescents and adults with a variety of presenting concerns including behavioral and emotional problems, personality disorders, and anger management or emotional disregulation. Primarily serve low-income, ethnically and culturally diverse clients in local and surrounding communities. Provide group services for approximately five to ten clients in anger management groups, provide approximately one individual anger management therapy session, and provide approximately two to three evaluations on a weekly basis and participate in weekly supervision sessions, staff meetings and case consultations. Provide feedback to parents about children s progress in the group and weekly discussion topics.
