5 2 HTS PCR PCR 96 and 384 Well Polypropylene for PCR 5 Tubes/Multi The use of the format allows the scale up of basic PCR work, while the 384 well format is ideal for highthroughput screening projects. All microplates are made of thinwalled polypropylene. This optimises the heat transfer from the thermoblock to the reaction solution. Our heatresistant sealers AMPLIseal TM, VIEWseal TM and SILVERseal TM ( p. 12 I 3 ff.) are ideal for sealing the microplates during PCR, and the microplate may also be sealed with 8cap strips ( p. 7 I 3). 96 Well Polypropylene for PCR 1. Minimal distortion and sagging curvature, homogeneous heat transfer and sealing of the individual wells are essential quality criteria here. The footprint of all 384 well PCR microplates is compatible with automated systems. 1.
