Please note that there is not a lecture on those dates. They are the date by which you should submit your script to the centre for marking. 4 CIPFA Online Centre - Events Information Open Day: Tuesday 27th January 2015 and Tuesday 4th August hours (UK time) This is an opportunity for new and potential as well as existing students to learn more about the CIPFA qualification and Kaplan Live Online. In this session we will give you an overview of the CIPFA qualification as well as how the Live Online CIPFA course will be structured and delivered. The best way to understand how a Live Online course will work and whether it is suited to your learning styles is to attend a Live Online session. This session will work just like a Live Online lecture and will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions that you have around CIPFA and Live Online. 6 CIPFA Structures - UK & International UK s CIPFA's Professional Qualification (PQ) is the most robust and relevant accountancy qualification for those working in the public services in the UK. The Professional qualification is for those that would like to develop their skills and further their career in the public services with many of the skills transferrable to the private sector. Tuition s Kaplan Tuition covers the knowledge behind the key examinable areas within each module. All courses end in time for students to join the revision course of their choice. We offer the following different course types to suit your study needs: Afternoon Tuition Held during the week these afternoon courses are ideal for students with limited study leave who are able to commit to one or two afternoons per week. Each afternoon session is the equivalent of half a day release day so is suitable for those who prefer shorter, more regular study sessions. Weekday Tuition These courses are held one day per week, usually on the same day of the week, for each particular paper. Ideal for s who are able to commit to a regular study day per week. Materials and Resources: Included in your course will be the Official CIPFA Workbook and Solutions, Question Bank and Solutions and Progress Test Revision s Kaplan Revision courses reinforce student knowledge via question practice.
