1 Progress Monitoring Tool to be used with Math Intervention, 3-5, Second Edition by Jennifer Taylor-Cox 1
2 The Progress Monitoring Tool can be used in a variety of ways. Each chapter begins with a list of the concepts and levels of progress. The math intervention teacher can record the start date and the date of proficiency at each of the three levels (I-1, I-2, and I-3). The following pages provide a place to record notes regarding the student s progress. The intervention teacher may record how the student solves problems, which math words she correctly uses, and how she answers the questions at different levels of cognitive demand. Other notes may include which problems the students can successfully solve and which problems the student will work on next. The tool also includes a place to record the student s rigorous problem solving scores. 2
