3 Accessing Schedules 1 OPEN THE SENSI APP To open the Sensi mobile app, locate the app on your mobile device and select it. 2 TURN ON SCHEDULING On the Sensi app home screen, you will see the current room temperature and a menu bar in the upper left corner. To make sure Scheduling is on, tap on the menu bar and use the On/Off switch under Scheduling to turn it ON. To edit your schedule, select Edit Schedule to enter the scheduling menu. 3 ADJUST YOUR SCHEDULE By default, the schedule is setup with two daily schedule groups: Monday through Friday, and the weekend. You can easily edit the daily schedules by selecting the days of the week you need for an existing daily schedule, or creating a new one. Sensi TM Wi-Fi Programmable Thermostat SCHEDULING GUIDE 3

4 Creating, Deleting And Editing Schedules CREATING A NEW SCHEDULE To create a new daily schedule group, just tap Add a New Daily Schedule at the bottom and select the days you wish to group together. EDITING A SCHEDULE Once you ve created scheduled groups for the days of the week you need, select Edit Daily Schedule to adjust the set points for that daily schedule group. Use the Up and Down arrows to change the time and temperature set points. You can also tap the plus sign in the upper right corner to add additional set points. The Sensi thermostat will store up to eight separate time and temperature set points per daily schedule. When you re finished, tap the back button in the upper left corner to return to the cooling schedule. DELETING A SCHEDULE To delete an unused daily schedule, tap the trash can icon above the schedule name, then tap the minus sign next to the unused schedule. A delete box will appear, allowing you to delete that schedule. Tap Done once the schedule has been successfully deleted. Sensi TM Wi-Fi Programmable Thermostat SCHEDULING GUIDE 4

5 Creating Multiple Schedules WHY CREATE MULTIPLE SCHEDULES? The Sensi mobile app allows you to create multiple schedules for events like a summer vacation, or a snow day. TURNING ON MULTIPLE SCHEDULES 1 2 To create multiple schedules, tap the menu bar in the upper left corner of the screen and select Advanced Scheduling under the Scheduling menu. 3 Menu Summer Away Regular Cool 1 Ensure that Multiple Schedules is turned On using the On/Off switch. Winter Vacation Regular Heat 2 Return to the menu, and select Edit Schedule. 3 Next, select Add a Cool Schedule. 4 First, you ll want to give your new schedule a name (for example: ). Then, you ll need to group the days for this new schedule Next, select Edit Daily Schedule 6 Use the Up and Down arrows to change the time and temperature set points. Remember to tap the plus sign in the upper right corner if you need to add additional set points. When you re finished, tap the back arrow in the upper left corner to return to the cooling schedule. 7 To activate your new schedule, simply tap on the circle to the left of that schedule name. 6 Manually Setting A Basic Schedule CAN I SET A SCHEDULE WITHOUT USING THE MOBILE APP? Sensi thermostat was designed for users to set their temperature schedules using the mobile app. For full scheduling functionality and flexibility, please follow the earlier instructions for in app scheduling. While it is not recommended, if your thermostat is not connected to Wi-Fi you can set a very basic schedule from the Sensi thermostat itself. Follow the instructions below to set a single schedule (it will be the same for each day of the week) with just four setpoints. Note: As soon as your Sensi thermostat is connected, enabling Wi-Fi control, the manual schedule will be overriden. If for some reason you lose connectivity, the schedule set using the Sensi mobile app will continue to run. MANUAL SCHEDULING 1 1 Press Mode button to select between Heat and Cool mode to set a schedule for each system. 2 Press and hold the Schedule button for 5 seconds to open the scheduling menu. 2 3 Use the Up and Down buttons to set the correct time of day. 3 4 Press the Menu button to scroll through the four setpoints, using the Up and Down buttons to set the time and temperature for each one. 4 Sensi TM Wi-Fi Programmable Thermostat SCHEDULING GUIDE 6
