Succeed Training This document explains how to save a lecture/presentation which has been recorded in Camtasia Studio 8 in a way which will ensure it is added to an existing Listen Again page.

1 Succeed Training This document explains how to save a lecture/presentation which has been recorded in Camtasia Studio 8 in a way which will ensure it is added to an existing Listen Again page. The guide assumes that users already know how to make recordings in Camtasia Studio 8 and that a Camtasia Relay account for the module in question has already been set up on the Listen Again server. For guidance on how to use Camtasia Studio 8 please see the Information Services web site: To check whether there is already a Camtasia Relay account for the module in question set up on the Listen Again server, please contact your eld representative: Produce and Share the recording via Camtasia Relay Once the lecture/presentation has been recorded and edited as required in Camtasia Studio 8, follow these steps in Camtasia Studio 8 to create the Listen Again recording. 1. From the File Menu select Produce and Share (Figure 1). Figure 1 - Selecting Produce and Share 2. The Production Wizard dialogue box opens. From the pull down menu select Share to TechSmith Relay (as shown in Figure 2). 3. Click the Finish button. Page 1 of 6

Insert the username and password details associated with the account for the module in question and click the Log In button (Figure 3). Figure 3 - The Camtasia Relay Log In box 6. This will usually be Standard or Standard - keep if the presentation is to be kept for more than the current academic year. If Standard - keep is not available for this user then please contact your eld representative to get this added. 8. Overtype the Presenter Name if required. 9. Do not edit the Address. 10. Input the Presentation Title in the Presentation Title field. 11. Input the Presentation Description in the Presentation Description field. 12. Click Submit. 13. Camtasia Relay renders the project. The Rendering Project progress bar displays showing this taking place (Figure 5). Page 3 of 6

Figure 5 - The Rendering Project progress bar 14. When the project has been rendered, Camtasia Relay displays a confirmation message. Click OK to clear this (Figure 6).

The amount of time this takes depends not only upon the length of the recording (and thus the size of the files to be processed), but also on whether there are other recordings currently being

Figure 6 - The confirmation message after the presentation has been submitted 15. Camtasia Relay now processes the recording on the Listen Again server. The amount of time this takes depends not only upon the length of the recording (and thus the size of the files to be processed), but also on whether there are other recordings currently being processed or in the queue to be processed on the server. The confirmation should usually appear within a couple of days, however, apart from during very busy times. 16. When the recording has been processed on the Listen Again server, an is generated. This is sent to the address associated with the account for that module on the Listen Again server. Only one address may be associated with any one account. 17. Open the and click the link in it (Figure 7). Page 4 of 6
