1 Club Mistral Anse La Raie - New Center in the North of Mauritius January 20 th 2014 MAURITIUS - ANSE LA RAIE We are very happy to announce that in spring 2014 we will open our new Club Mistral Kitesurfing Center in the north of Mauritus at Anse la Raie. The huge bay right in front of our new center convinced us immediately. It s a dream for every kitesurfer s heart! Pre-booking will be available beginning of March. THE SPOT A reef, which in part lies up to 2.5 kilometers from the shoreline, almost completely girds the north-east of Mauritius. This makes for a broad lagoon, which, whilst not shallow enough to stand in, gives a huge and safe flat-water-playground. In addition, the constant wind blows almost always at an ideal angle: sideshore! Due to the fact that the beaches on the north of the island are both small and not very common, the kitesurf lessons take place in the 300 meters wide and sandy bay or from the boat further outside in the lagoon. The bay of Anse la Raie is only 5 minutes on foot from the Blumarine Hotel, which is where our new center is based, and it is the same distance from the Paradise Cove Hotel. Guests staying in the new Zilwa Hotel can take the boat-shuttle to the Club Mistral Center. Kitesurfers who are renting or storing their kitesurf equipment with us also start in the bay of Anse la Raie. For launching and landing we have team members ready in the bay. A highlight for Club Mistral guests who are able to kitesurf is the down-winder with safety boat which we will organize regularly. On those windless days this is also on offer with our SUP boards to the nearby Amber Island inside the lagoon, which offers a vast area of Mangroves to explore.

2 The bay of Anse la Raie and the spot in front of the Hotel Blumarine is also perfect for windsurf beginner lessons - no currents, no waves and the wind is cross onshore, so they do not drift away. There will be a limited amount of windsurf beginner equipment. The outer reef gets some nice waves (less than the south, the size is usually from 0.5 meters to max. 2 meters). Supervision or guided tours can be organized using the safety boat. In the future there will be transfers to the south for wave lovers in case of poor conditions or for SUP/surfing lessons. Soon there will be more information about it!! THE CENTER The Club Mistral Kitesurfing Center will open on the grounds of the 4-star Blumarine Hotel with its nautical and warm atmosphere. Alexis Redelsperger is center manager of Club Mistral Anse la Raie. SEASON AND WIND Season: from March until December. Best travel period: is the Mauritian winter for more constant trade winds. In the lagoon the wind blows at an ideal angle almost always side-shore - between 10 to 25 Beaufort. In the bay of Anse la Raie and in front the Hotel Blumarine the wind blows cross onshore.

3 KITESURFING RENTAL, LESSON AND STORAGE KITESURFING Kitesurf rental, lesson and storage will be available from the 1st of March for pre-booking. The equipment is North Kiteboarding and the 2014 kites and boards will be available. Kitesurf Rental We will offer kitesurf rental at our regular PEAK, STADARD AND SPACIAL RATE soon there will be an overview of the prices. There is no extra safety fee at this center. Kitesurf Lessons We will offer semi-private and private kitesurf lessons for all level. Kitesurf Storage Storage spaces are available. WINDSURFING Windsurf lessons will be available for complete beginner, excluding kids. For now we will offer Semiprivate, private and group (max. 4 students) lessons. SUP RENTAL AND LESSONS We will have 10 Mistral SUP-boards on offer. Rental and lessons are available on site. SUP excursions will also be organized on site.

4 OTHER ACTIVITIES - Night owls can enjoy a trip to Grand Bay, which in the evening pulsates to a Mauritian groove in its bars and discos. - Fishing with the locals in the lagoon - Shopping in the malls near Grand Bay - Diving and wakeboarding - Playing Golf is mainly done in the south but transfers can be organized - Excursions will be offered to the market of Port Louis - Hiking the 2 nd highest mountain of Mauritius the Thumb - The Sugar Adventure - The nearby island of Coin de Mire is also very close by boat for a half or full day escape. - More will be listed soon OVERVIEW ACCOMMODATION

5 ACCOMMODATION HOTEL ZILWA ATTITUDE Opened in October 2013, this resort by the hotel group Attitude creates a unique and 100% Mauritian concept. The Creole name Zilwa means Island Dweller, so you are invited to experience local traditions, to immerse yourself in the Mauritian way of life and leave the everyday life behind. The Zilwa Attitude is in the north of the island with breathtaking views of the northern islands close to the fishing village of Grand Gaube. Two of the small deserted islands, Ti Zil and Gran Zil, belong to the hotel. They are accessible in a few minutes by boat and are used for massages and private beach lunches and BBQs. Five restaurants in total tempt you with gastronomic specialties. The new décor in white and blue lends the Blumarine both a nautical and a warm atmosphere. Blumarine is a 4-star hotel with a unique concept: two hotels in one. Couples and families mingle very harmoniously together here. An all-inclusive package means that kids and grownups can enjoy their holiday without worrying about extra costs. Three restaurants, a spa area, a mini-club and two pools mean that no-one in the family gets bored. The spacious, tastefully decorated rooms have more than enough space for families with two children. The Blumarine Boutique is an additional area in the hotel reserved only for couples and honeymooners. An a la carte restaurant, a pool and two massage cabins are available for guests of the Boutique Hotel.
