DAY/HOTEL PLAYERS WILL NOT CHECK IN AT DORMS!!!! ***DAY/HOTEL PLAYERS MEET AT THE FIELD FOR YOUR FIRST GAME 30 MINUTE BEFORE THE 1 ST GAME All Hotel/Day campers will check in at the site of their first contest to receive their reversible jersey. DORM CHECK IN between 10:30-1:00 p.m. REGISTATION WILL BE AT THE 1 ST FLOOR LOBBY OF EACH DORM NORTH CAMPUS LAIRD COMPLEX GPS DIRECTION: 200 New London Road Newark, De (CUT AND PASTE) Directions to registration: Laird Campus DORM MAP FOR DIRECTIONS INCLUDED (Watch for Camp Signs to direct you) From the north: Take I-95 South to Delaware Exit 1-B; Route 896 North. Continue straight approximately two miles. Follow on campus directions ON CAMPUS DIRECTIONS: At the intersection of Rt 4 and Route 896 North continue straight on South College Ave (past on the right Fred P. Rullo Stadium, the Bob Carpenter/Sports Convocation Center, Delaware Stadium). Look for camp signs. Continue past the athletic complex continuing on 896 north over the Amtrak Bridge continuing on S. College Ave through campus until you reach the end of South College at a T which is main street. You must take a left on Main Street. Continue to the end of main street and the road will split three ways bear right at the Deer Park Restaurant onto New London Road/896 North. Go straight through the next light and down the hill going past the UD Courtyard Marriott Hotel. Take the second right and park in the parking lot on the left. Follow the signs to the registration tents or buildings. That is where check in will be. The dorms for camp will be at the Christiana Towers, George Read and Thomas McKean and James Smith dorms. These dorms have air conditioning. From the south: Take I-95 North to Delaware Exit 1; Route 896 North. Continue straight approximately two miles. Check In Information Check in and registration time will be 10:30-1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17 (day /hotel campers will check in at the site of their first game not the dorms to receive their jersey and to confirm their attendance at camp). For transportation to the campus from airports and Amtrak contact Delaware Express Shuttle Company ( ask for Tony x623) for transportation from Philadelphia airport or the Wilmington train station. The camp will be done Wednesday, July 20 from 11:30-1:30 depending on your play-off games.

2 EQUIPMENT Items to bring: A All the necessary lacrosse equipment-helmet: stick: gloves: arm pads : shoulder pads: mouth pieces are required the camp is not responsible for replacement parts to sticks, helmets, etc. please bring back up accessory items for your equipment. B. Sneakers/Turf shoes (for astro turf Field 2 & Field 3): spikes (for grass and field turf fields) must be brought to every game session you will play on both surfaces at each session. Sneakers on Field 2 & 3 C. Trainers will supply Gatorade and water D. Sheets pillow & pillow cases-blankets- towels are required in dorm room UD Parent Camper Waiver off web site and a Physician Note is needed 1) A PHYSICIAN'S CERTIFICATION OF GOOD HEALTH (A NOTE FROM YOUR PERSONAL PHYSICIAN INDICATING YOUR SON IS IN GOOD HEALTH TO PARTICIPATE) OR 2) A COPY OF A SCHOOL PHYSICAL GIVEN DURING THE YEAR REGISTRATION FOR DORM PLAYERS Registration will take place from 10:30-1:00 p.m. at the lobby of the dorm they will be staying in. They will receive their dorm room key, building entrance plastic flob or dorm card and meal bracelet. Hotel / Day campers must meet at the site of their first game to receive their reversible jersey. Do not meet at the dorms to ride the shuttle bus.. DORM SHUTTLE BUS RIDES Players should meet at the top parking lot above the high rise dorms to load the shuttle bus. YOUR COACH WILL BE THERE FOR ROLL CALL. Players, and coaches must look at their schedule to know what site the game is at. There will be designated spots for buses. All teams playing at North Campus fields (# 9 and #10 ) staying at North Campus will take roll on the field turf in front of Pencader Dining Hall and then walk to the field from the dorms as a team. Meals are not provided for Hotel / Day Campers. There is a $150 dollar charge for any dorm keys that are not returned at the end of the week and a $100 charge for the PDI building access card or FOB. Players staying in a dorm will receive a meal bracelet for the dining hall. You will not receive a replacement bracelet if you lose it. NO DAY PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED TO EAT IN THE DINING HALL. The access card or fob allows entrance into your dorm building. Each camper will receive a key lanyard at registration for his key to his room. It is recommended not to play games with the lanyard, key, and FOB on while at camp. University dorms have a security system that requires an access FOB/Building Card in order to get inside to the dorm rooms. JERSEYS Each camper will receive his Hotbeds Jersey at the field where the team s first game is scheduled. The Field Director will distribute the jersey making sure that each number corresponds to the number given the player in the college coach s recruiting booklet. College coaches will have information booklets with rosters, and personal information. This is why it is important to wear the Hotbeds jersey at every contest to maximize your recruiting exposure.

3 RECRUITING CAMP--- READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is important that every camper know that the coaching association is a very tight knit organization. How well you represent yourself could effect your reputation in the coaching community. Coaches communicate with each other on players and a good and bad reputation will spread rapidly amongst the coaching community. Your goal at this type of camp is to represent yourself; your high school and your family as well as you can both on the field and off the field. Each player is expected to display the best behavior while at camp. In past years we have sent players home along with charging their families for any dorm damage while also notifying their high school administration and coaches of any undesirable behavior. Your behavior can follow you through out your career. College coaches will be notified of anyone who displays inappropriate behavior or conduct at the camp. MEALS / DINING HALL FOR DORM PLAYERS ONLY!!!!!! Each dorm player will receive a wrist band for the camp meal pass. The top floor of Pencader Dinning Hall will be available to eat meals. You must bus your plates and clean up after each meal. Dorm campers have paid for on-campus meals Day campers / hotel campers will not receive meal passes. They will be required to eat on their own and take transportation on their own to game sites. DORM CAMPERS WITH CARS Campers/Staff who drive cars and are staying at the dorms need to park on the top parking lots above John Clayton Hall Conference Center. Hotbeds has paid for that parking lot. Anywhere else you will get ticketed. ALL PARKING MUST BE EITHER IN FRONT OF DELAWARE STADIUM, IN FRONT OF THE FRED RUST ICE RINK OR BEHIND THE BOB CARPENTER CENTER AT UD ATHLETIC GAMES OR AT LOT 19 FOR GAMES BEHIND CARPENTER SPORTS BUIDLING NORTH CAMPUS. LOT 19 IS ACROSS THE TRACKS ON NORTH COLLEGE AVE. YOU WILL BE TICKETED AND TOWED IF YOU ARE NOT PARKING IN A DESIGNATED SPACE. THE TOURNAMENT WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TICKETS OR TOWING!!!!!!! CARS PARKING AT ANY YELLOW CURB (FIRE LANE) WILL BE TICKETED AND TOWED! SEE LIST ON WEB SITE HOTELS PARKING FOR SPECTATORS...IMPORTANT Parking for the events.. all parking needs to be done for the UD athletic Fields either in front of the Delaware Football Stadium, behind the Bob Carpenter Basketball center, or in front of the Delaware Field House For North Campus above Main Street.all parking must be done in the parking lot corner of Cleveland and N. Campus Rd. This is Not #19. NO PARKING UD ATHLETIC CENTER: (CARS WILL BE TICKETED AND POTENTIALLY TOWED) 1. AROUND THE FIELD TURFS FIELD, OR RULLO STADIUM, 2. DOWN THE ACCESS ROAD TO THE POOL FIELDS FIELD # 5 AND #6 (ROAD BEHIND THE SOCCER AND BASEBALL FIELDS) 3. AROUND FIELDS # 5 ANED #6 BEHIND THE ICE RINKS AND POOL! 4. Around Field 4 you must walk to FIELD 4 from the Bob Carpenter back parking lot.

4 Dorm Rooms DORM SUPERVISORS AND TEAM COACHES will be responsible to making sure that the dorms are kept clean and that at the end of camp all trash will be taken to the outside dumpsters. The building cards/ flobs are coded for 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. no camper will be able to enter their dorm room with their card after 11 p.m. YOU MAY NOT SWITCH DORMS ALL DORM ASSIGNMENTS ARE FINAL!!!! YOU WILL BE SENT HOME IF YOU SWITCH DORMS OR MOVE FURNITURE FROM ONE DORM ROOM TO ANOTHER!!!!! THERE ARE NO REFRIGERATORS IN THE DORM ROOMS. EACH CAMPER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WAKING UP ON TIME IN THE MORNING. YOU MUST BRING AN ALARM CLOCK! Camp Areas for Dorm Campers The dorms and athletic areas are the only places that campers are allowed during camp. No dorm camper may leave the dorms to go into town unless with a parent. Registration Procedures (for dorm campers) As you take a right off of 896/New London Road ( follow signs) park in the upper parking lots to your right as you drive in. You will be ticketed if you park in any fire lane around the dorms or in any metered parking spaces. Registration.. will be in the lobby of each dorm. All players will be provided their dorm location and room number by Thursday afternoon. TAKE A LOOK AT THE WEB SITE FOR EACH DORM TO BE FAMILIAR WITH IT.
