1 Online Graduation Registration To attend the Ceremony, all graduates are required to process their online graduation registration and reserve the academic gown. Please read the details of the online graduation registration process and rehearsal schedule provided in this handbook. 1. Online Graduation Registration Schedules First Registration From January 26, 2016, a.m. to January 29, 2016, a.m. (12.00 midnight) Payment must be made by January 30, 2016 only. - Doctors of Philosophy (PhDs) and Master s Degree graduates, Thai program and International program, who graduate in the 2/2014 Semester, 2014 Summer Session, and 1/2015 Semester (Only graduates approved by the Board of Trustees) - Bachelor s Degree graduates, Thai program and International program, who graduate in the 2/2014 Semester, and 2014 Summer Session Second Registration From February 23, 2016, a.m. to February 26, 2016, a.m. (12.00 midnight) Payment must be made by February 27, 2016 only. - Doctors of Philosophy (PhDs), Master s Degree graduates, and Bachelor s Degree graduates, Thai program and International program, who graduate in the 1/2015 Semester 2. Online Graduation Registration Process 2.1 Graduates must register their completion of education/course of study and their graduation, approved by the Board of Trustees. 2.2 All graduates must cheek online graduation registration data for completion and accuracy. 2.3 Graduates must register their graduation online first before making payment. For Online registration during January 26-29, 2016 :Payment must be made by January 30, 2016 only. For Online registration during February 23-26, 2016 :Payment must be made by February 27, 2016 only. **Please print the pay-in slip for online registration fees as it is needed for payment.** 2.4 Graduates who have not submitted their photos to be used in the Graduate Yearbook are required to submit two 2-inch color photos in the graduation gown with their first-last name, School, and Department written on the back of the photos, at the Records Office on both campuses or by the registered mail to the address below. (Please send the photos by Friday, February 28, 2016, based on the postage date. Otherwise, your photo will not be shown in the Graduate Yearbook.) 2 2.5 Graduates who processed the online graduation registration can check the result of their payment after 5 working days of the payment or contact Financial Affairs Office at ext.1922,1924, Online Graduation Registration Process Online Graduation Registration Fill in Citizen ID No. or Passport No. (International students) If the graduates personal data are not shown after filling in the Citizen ID No. or Passport No., please contact the Records Office at ext If incorrect spelling of graduates first-last name is found, please contact Ms. Pussayaporn or Mr. Vatit at ext Please answer all questions in the Employment Survey Fill in the information for graduation registration - Attending the Commencement Ceremony - Not attending the Commencement Ceremony - Renting the graduation gown - Informing current address Print out the pay-in slip from the webpage or pay for the fees with other methods (see details on Item 5 Methods of Payment) Make a payment on the date specified in the pay-in slip Check the result of online graduation registration 5 working days after the payment date at or contact Financial Affairs Office, Bangkok University at ext. 1922, 1924, Fill in Citizen ID No. (for Thai students) or Passport No. (for International students) 3.2 If the Citizen ID or Passport No. is correct, the personal data will be shown on the webpage. If not shown, graduates can verify their personal data at the Documentation Department, the Records Office, tel ext (Monday Friday: hrs.) or send an to records_office@bu.ac.th 3.3 If graduates first-last name is misspelled, please correct the spelling and send it together with a copy of their Citizen card or the first page of their passport to Ms. Pussayaporn (pussayaporn.u@bu.ac.th) or Mr. Vatit (vatit.g@bu.ac.th) or send it by fax at First Registration By January 30, Second Registration By February 27, Please complete the Employment Survey (all questions must be answered.) 3.5 Fill in the information regarding Graduation Registration: attending or not attending the Commencement Ceremony Attending the Ceremony: Please indicate how the degree certificate will be collected incase that graduates cannot attend the ceremony, either to receive in person at the Records Office (City Campus) or requesting for delivery of the degree certificate by post at the given address. Not Attending the Ceremony: Please indicate the reason(s) of not attending the ceremony and how the degree certificate will be collected.

3 3.5.2 Graduates wishing to rent graduation gowns from the University are required to specify their heights (cm.) so that an appropriate graduation gown can be provided for the graduates. - Graduates of Doctoral and Master s degree are required to rent the hood and gown from the University only. - Graduates of Bachelor s degree can either rent the graduation gown from the University or bring their own gowns. However, they are required to rent the hood from the University. Remarks: The associate degree holders wear only the student uniform for the Ceremony Graduates are required to inform their current address whether it was changed and their e- Mail address. If the address was changed, please update your address and click OK when you finish processing. 3.6 The total amount of payment will be shown on the screen. If it is incorrect, click Back to make any correction. To confirm, click OK. Please note that no corrections can be made once the amount of payment is confirmed. 3.7 Print the pay-in-slip to make the payment on the date and at the bank specified by the University. Keep the slip and present it when collecting the graduation gown at the Cattleya shop by the specified period, or at the University (Rangsit Campus) on the rehearsal days. 3.8 Graduates can check whether the registration is completed 5 working days after the payment is made. Use the Citizen ID No. or Passport No. (for International students) to get access to the system. If the registration is completed, the screen will show Payment Completed. The graduated are then allowed to attend the commencement rehearsal as indicated in the schedule. If graduates cannot check the result of their payment, please contact Financial Affairs Office, Bangkok University at ext. 1922, 1924, Fees for Graduation Registration Registration in Fees for Bachelor s Degree 1. Registration fee and a Graduate Yearbook 3,000 Baht (For an Associate Degree holder, the registration fee is 1,500 Baht) 2. Lifelong alumni registration fee 1,000 Baht 3. Hood rental (for those attending the Commencement) 500 Baht 4. Graduation gown rental 500 Baht 5. Rental deposit for hood and gown (500 Baht each) 1,000 Baht (Graduates will receive the rental deposit after the hood and gown are returned.) 6. Postal fee for delivery of the degree certificate (For those not attending the Ceremony and unable to collect the degree in person) 6.1 Domestic delivery 50 Baht 6.2 Oversea delivery 300 Baht Registration in Fees for Master s and Doctoral Degrees 1. Registration fee and a Graduate Yearbook 3,000 Baht 2. Lifelong alumni registration fee 1,000 Baht 3. Graduation gown and hood rental 1,200 Baht 4. Rental deposit for hood and gown 2,000 Baht

Postal fee for delivery of the degree certificate (For those not attending the Ceremony and unable to collect the degree in person) 5.1 Domestic delivery 50 Baht 5.2 Oversea delivery 300 Baht (Remarks: For Master s and Doctoral degree, the lifelong alumni registration fee is exempted for Bangkok University alumni who paid for this fee.) 5. Methods of Payment Graduates who processed an online graduation registration are required to print out the pay-in slip from the webpage and make their payment at any branches of Bangkok Bank/ Siam Commercial Bank/ Kasikorn Bank/ TMB Bank/ United Overseas Bank (UOB)/ Bank of Ayudhya/ Counter Service / TESCO Lotus. Graduates who register for the graduation during January 26-29, 2016 are required to make their payment by January 30, 2016 and Graduates who register for the graduation during February 23-26, 2016 are required to make their payment by February 27, **To avoid an incomplete payment, DO NOT make your payment through the automatic deposit machine. Otherwise, your graduation registration is considered invalid. Graduates can pay the fees for online graduation registration by using the following methods: ATM Banking Payment - Bangkok Bank (Service is available from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.) - Select Payment Educational Institution Bangkok University. - Enter Customer no. xxxxxxxxxx (10-digit Student ID no.) and Reference no. xxxxxxxxx (9-digit reference - Kasikorn Bank (Service is available from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.) - Select Payment. - Enter Bangkok University code Enter customer no./ account no. of 19 digits (10 digits from Student ID no. and 9 digits from reference - Siam Commercial Bank (Service is available from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.). - Select Products & Services Payment. - Enter Bangkok University account no Enter Customer no. xxxxxxxxxx (10-digit Student ID no.) and Reference no. xxxxxxxxx (9-digit reference - Thai Military Bank (Service is available from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.). - Select Products & Services Payment. - Select Other

Mobile Banking Payment - Kasikorn Bank (Service is available from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.) Students must have the saving or current accounts with Kasikorn Bank and make the payment via DTAC or GSM mobile phone operator systems (ATM sim card). - Enter Bangkok University code Enter customer no./account no. of 19 digits (10 digits from Student ID no. and 9 digits from ref. Credit Card Payment The Financial Affairs Office welcomes registration payment made by Bangkok Bank s credit card or any Visa or Master credit cards. The service is available at the Financial Department, the Both Campus, from Monday to Friday during office hours. Please note that additional fees will be charged for the payment made by credit card. Commencement Rehearsal Schedule: March 31 - April 3, 2016 at University (Rangsit Campus) Bangkok University Alumni News: BU Alumni Association create online alumni newsletter for all graduates as an additional and fast channel to communicate and update news via or contact the Association at Student Loan News: Graduates can submit their student loan report (for graduation) to the Loan and Scholarship Department by April 25, 2016, at both campuses, Monday Friday, at hrs.

7 BU Cooperatives Store News: Graduates are allowed to receive their cooperative dividend and withdraw their cooperative share during November 2 April 29, 2016 contact the BU Cooperatives at ext Hood and Gown Pick Up and Return All graduates are required to show the receipt of the prepaid reservation (registration pay-in slip) to pick up their hood and gown at the Cattleya Shop Address: 72 Boromrat Chonnani Road, Bangbamru, Bangplad, Bangkok 10700, Tel , , Fax on the following schedule: **Graduates who pay for the graduation registration fees by January 30, 2016 ** -Bachelor s degree graduates collect the hood and gown on February 5, 2016 until the rehearsal day. -Master s and Doctoral degree graduates collect the hood and gown on February 25, 2016 until the rehearsal day. ** Graduates who pay for the graduation registration fees after February 27, 2016** - Graduates collect the hood and gown on March4, 2016 until the rehearsal day. Cattleya Shop : Open daily from hrs., including the weekend and national holidays, (The shop will be closed on every Monday and during April 13-16, 2016 for Songkran Festival days.) Hood and Gown Return: Graduates can return hood and gown at either the registration point on the Commencement Day by hrs. or at the Cattleya Shop (Pinklao) within 60 days after the Commencement Day (Graduates will receive the rental deposit after hood and gown are returned.)

8 Commencement Photo Delivery Chayakorn Photo Shop (First Digital Lab Company Limited) will send an 11x14-inch non-retouched printed photo attached on the white paper frame with a golden university logo, and a CD copy to the graduate s given address via Thailand Post Service.
