3 Solid-Trans Piston Pump The Jamesway SOLID-TRANS Piston Pump transfers bedded manure long distances with only a 7.5 HP motor. The powerful knife gates make the SOLID-TRANS the best choice for tie-stall barns or for freestall barns that may have long bedding, hay or pen pack mixed into the manure. The SOLID-TRANS Piston Pump may be installed in a dry pit or may be half-buried with a shallow pit providing service access. Manure is transferred to storage through 16 steel or PVC pipe. The 5 x 48 hydraulic cylinder provides plenty of pumping pressure. Choose either manual or hydraulic safety gate. How it works... Suction Choose from a wide range of hoppers to suit your installation. Pipe access port is standard. Bedded manure passes easily through the 20 round inlet tube. Pressure The heavy knife gates power through the toughest bedding.

4 Semi-Trans Piston Pump The Jamesway SEMI-TRANS Piston Pump transfers semi-solid manures with short bedding from barn to storage. The SEMI-TRANS is the pump of choice for sand-bedded barns, with the heavy construction and extra durability needed to handle these tough conditions. How it works... Suction Pressure Powerful 5 hydraulic cylinder. Choose or 16 discharge pipe. The SEMI-TRANS Pump can be mounted in a dry pit with a suction pipe extending into a reception pit when working with flowable manure. Construction is easy, with the wet pit and dry pit floors on the same elevation. Inlet pipe facing down for sand bedding Choose manual or hydraulic service gates. The full width service doors provide easy access to the flapper doors. Inlet pipe facing up for organic bedding The hopper inlet model of SEMI-TRANS accepts a wide range of manure types, including non-flowable manure.

5 Liqui-Trans Piston Pump The Jamesway LIQUI-TRANS Piston Pump sits high and dry at floor level while pulling manure from the reception pit through the 8 steel suction pipe. The compact size and easy floor mounting makes planning simple and works well in smaller manure rooms. The LIQUI-TRANS Piston Pump transfers liquid manure and manure slurry from barn to storage through 6 or 8 PVC pipe. The ability to handle thicker and lumpier materials than is possible with centrifugal pumps makes the LIQUI-TRANS a great choice in barns where the manure consistency may vary. The simplicity and reliability of the LIQUI- TRANS are important in applications such as manure separators or digester loading, where long running hours are the norm. The large inlet pipe makes the LIQUI-TRANS difficult to block, a key quality in automated systems. How it works... Suction Urethane flapper door seals. Heavy-wall 8 steel suction pipe. 20 diameter stainless steel pump chamber with 4 hydraulic cylinder. 6 output gate valve Requiring only a 5 or 7.5 HP motor, the LIQUI-TRANS pump is able to transfer manure long distances, even with single-phase power. Pressure When feeding separators, you can control the manure discharge rate using the optional hydraulic flow divider on the power unit.

6 ACCESSORIES Every installation needs the right accessories to ensure safe, trouble-free operation of your Jamesway piston pump. PROP-AGITATOR The Jamesway Electric Prop-Agitator is frequently used with Liqui-Trans pumps for chopping bedding or homogenizing manure in the reception pit. HYDRAULIC POWER UNIT With nine models of hydraulic power unit, Jamesway can match the right choice to every job. The hydraulic pump is C-face mounted to guarantee perfect shaft alignment, whether choosing 5, 7½ or 10 HP motor. CONTROLS The Jamesway Hydraulic Unit motor starter includes a monitor to automatically stop the system in case of high oil temperature. These starters are also Ready-For- Signal models, designed to work with other Jamesway controls, including Scraper-Boss control, Liquid-Level control, Timer module, Float module, etc. INLET CLEANER This hydraulic-powered unit rotates to prevent bedding material from blocking the Liqui-Trans inlet pipe.

A large volume of high-pressure air is discharged into the pipe, causing the manure load to push forward and scour the pipe clean. Matching the correct size and quality of pipe to the application is critical. Jamesway manufactures fittings and adapters for a wide range of pipes. Jamesway clamp kits prevent pipe joints from separating. These are strongly recommended for transfer of heavily bedded/ solid manure and for any pipe where airflushing will be employed. SAFETY VALVES Outlet gate valves must be closed to prevent backflow anytime the pump is not running. 8 shuttle- gutter The Jamesway Shuttle- hydraulic gutter cleaner is a perfect fit, able to run off the same power unit with any of the hydraulic piston pumps. Operates at full speed for transfer into reception pits or use the variable speed control to match the pump capacity when transferring into hopper-fed pumps. The Jamesway Shuttle- is available in several widths for use either as a cross collection gutter in freestall barns or as a barn cleaner in tie-stall barns.
