2 MARVIN SILLGUARDt Applications and Guidelines CAUTION: Marvin SillGuard isone componentin astructure s overallwater managementsystem and should be used in conjunction with a properly engineered drainage plane compatible with the exterior cladding per ASTM E Any deviation from the following limitations will require field modification and may void the Marvin SillGuard warranty. For use with the following Marvin products: S All windows except Bow and Bay, insert products, and Tilt Pacs. S Intended for use in new residential applications. Follow these guidelines when using Marvin SillGuard: S Minimum 6 (152) rough opening jamb height. S Minimum 6 round top rough opening spring line height. S 13 (330) minimum rough opening width. S 41/ (114) minimum jamb depth S For use with units with a horizontal sill only, including Polygon units. S Not intended for use on windows or doors installed into recessed masonry openings. Avoid any fasteners to the exterior of the sealant line marked on the product. Seal any fasteners placed beyond this line prior to window or door installation. A center section is required for rough openings greater than 27 1/.
