6 The Wedding Fees Our all inclusive deluxe wedding package includes the Peachtree Christian Church pastor and premarital counseling; organist fees; use of church facilities for the rehearsal and wedding; bridal room; dressing room for groomsmen; designated security guard; sound technician; custodial fees; utilities; and parking. The allotted time for a wedding is one and a half hours for photos before the wedding; thirty to forty minutes for the ceremony; and thirty minutes for family photos after the wedding. More time may be allowed if it does not conflict with another scheduled event. Sanctuary Wedding (seating 500 people) $3, Chapel Wedding (seating 90 people) $1, The ONLY additional fees that may be incurred are: Optional additional soloists and/or instrumentalists arranged through the minister of music Printing of the available church wedding programs (see p. 10) Optional aisle marker candles A $500 damage deposit is required for all weddings. The deposit is due 30 days before the wedding date and is refunded 30 days after the wedding date, barring no damage, failure to leave things clean, alcohol on the premises or overage in rehearsal or wedding time. * 50% of the Wedding Fee is due at contract signing; the remaining 50%, along with refundable damage deposit and any optional costs (additional musicians, programs, etc.) is due 30 days prior to the wedding. Late payments are subject to a $100 late payment fee. *Overages in time are defined as an event starting more than 30 minutes late or lasting 30 minutes or longer than the reserved time. The amount of the deposit withheld will be determined by the length of time and the hourly rate of the service provider whose time is extended (i.e. security, musicians, etc.)

7 Scheduling Your Reservation Weddings are held at the following times with rehearsal set at the corresponding times: Wedding Time Saturday, 11 am Saturday, 2 pm Saturday, 5 or 6 pm Sunday, 2 pm Rehearsal Time Preceding Friday, 4 pm Preceding Friday, 6 pm Preceding Friday, 5 pm Preceding Saturday, 11 am The scheduling of all arrangements for the wedding should be made as far in advance as possible with the wedding coordinator, who can be reached at x307. Confirmation of the wedding and placement on the church calendar will be made when the wedding coordinator receives the completed and signed Wedding Application and Contract, the signed Wedding Payment and Refund Policies form, and one half of the total fee ($1,600 for a Sanctuary wedding and $995 for a Chapel wedding). Checks should be made payable to Peachtree Christian Church. Wedding Refund Policy If a wedding is cancelled, the following schedule will determine the refund, if applicable to the party who paid the fee: If cancelled at least nine months prior: 100% of wedding deposit is refundable If cancelled within six to nine months prior: 75% of wedding deposit is refundable If cancelled within three to six months prior: 50% of wedding deposit is refundable If cancelled within three months: Deposit is non-refundable Changes of Date do not constitute a cancellation, but are subject to a $200 change fee.

13 Photography Guidelines Since the wedding is a worship service, all photographers (amateur and professional) are asked to hold in reverence the ceremony and the place. The church will be open and reserved for the wedding party two hours prior to the start of the wedding for the purpose of taking pictures. Limited pictures of the bride and wedding party may be made from the narthex or back of the Sanctuary during the processional and recessional. Photographers may not enter the center aisle for pictures. The photographer may take photos from the side aisles, provided it is no closer to the chancel than behind the first column. Photographers using equipment not requiring flash bulbs may take time exposures from the balcony of the sanctuary or from the rear of the chapel. Movement and other distraction should be kept to a minimum. Experience has proven that it is difficult to maintain a worshipful attitude amidst flash bulbs and the sounds of individual camcorders. Videography Guidelines If a video recording is to be made of the ceremony, please select a professional or someone skilled in the use of video equipment. The camera is best located in the back balcony. A remote camera may be used in the front balcony, but not on the chancel. The operator may use the equipment in the side aisles, provided it is no closer to the chancel than behind the first columns. Movement should be kept to a minimum. There will be a staff sound technician on site the day of the wedding to assist with audio set-up.

14 Wedding Planner Guidelines Outside Wedding/Bridal Planners and Consultants are not to interfere at the wedding rehearsal and the wedding, are required to abide by the Peachtree Christian Church Wedding policies, and may function only under the direction of the Officiant and / or our Wedding Guild. The Wedding Guild will direct the wedding rehearsal and the wedding under the guidance of the officiating minister from Peachtree Christian Church. Each member of the Peachtree Christian Church Wedding Guild is trained on our wedding policies and procedures and familiar with each of the ministers and the organist. The Wedding Guild is a volunteer organization made up of church members who are charged with the responsibility of assisting the officiating minister in carrying out the arrangements for the wedding. The Wedding Guild will help everyone be in the right place at the right time! Two members from the Wedding Guild are appointed for each wedding. The Guild members will be present at the rehearsal and the wedding. Their primary purpose of the Wedding Guild is to help create an atmosphere of calm and orderliness. Good taste and courteous consideration of others are usually the only guidelines needed. Love, dignity, happiness, and reverence for God are our goals. At the rehearsal, the guild members will take notes on the wedding attendant processional; chart the seating of mothers and grandmothers; inform the ushers of their specific duties; and answer questions. On the day of the wedding, the two guild members will arrive one hour before the ceremony and be on hand throughout the wedding to assist the wedding party and families and act as hosts and hostesses for Peachtree Christian Church. They will remain in the Narthex during the ceremony to greet and seat late arrivals and to keep an eye on personal possessions in the Bridal Room. A bridal consultant is welcome to help the bride and her attendants in the Bride s Room. Once the bridal party leaves the Bride s Room, please rely on the Wedding Guild members to coordinate and direct the activities of the wedding party at the rehearsal and the wedding. Guest Pastor Guidelines Peachtree Christian Church welcomes guest pastors. We understand that many couples, especially non-members, have pastors who have been meaningful in their lives and who want to be involved in this wonderful occasion. The Peachtree Christian Church pastor is always in complete charge and will direct the rehearsal and wedding. During the wedding, both pastors (host and guest) will be robed and fitted with wireless microphones. They will stand side by side on the chancel and perform a shared and balanced ceremony following the guidelines below. The Peachtree pastor usually performs the more liturgical elements of the ceremony and the guest pastor usually performs the more personal elements, including the exchanging of vows and rings.
