2 Course Description HVAC/R TECHNICIAN 630 Hours/12 Months/Self Study/Instructor Led The HVAC/R Technician course is comprised of 3 separate modules combined to ensure all students are fully prepared to become NATE Certified in HVAC/R. The HVAC/R Technician 1: Fundamentals & Refrigeration course has a clear-cut vision of necessary knowledge to gain employment in the HVAC/R industry. This HVAC/R Technician course provides comprehensive coverage of the fundamentals of the HVAC/R industry and refrigeration systems. Course Certification Participants who complete the course will be provided a Certificate of Completion issued by HLSCC. Registration Procedures To register for the course, persons must submit the registration form and pay the requisite fees at HLSCC s Fiscal Services. A payment receipt will be provided and registration form will be stamped with a receipt number. A copy of the stamped registration form will be provided to the participant, for their personal records.
