See the USATF Rules for more information and exceptions. A competitor must compete in his/her age division only. There will be no "moving up" in any events, including relays. Competitors in the Bantam and Midget divisions may compete in a maximum of three events, including relays. Competitors in the Youth, Intermediate, and Young divisions may compete in a maximum of four events, including relays. Combined events are not included in the event count. All athletes must be 2016 members of USATF in good standing. Relay Teams: Only registered 2016 USATF member clubs may enter a relay team(s). All athletes representing the club must be affiliated with and members of that club as part of their USATF membership. 2 ENTRY PROCESS: Individual Entries: 6.00 each Event and each relay NO CHARGE FOR COMBINED EVENTS Registration: On Line registration at athletic.net starting May 10th Entries will be closed at MIDNIGHT WEDNESDAY, June 15 th. Entry fees may be paid on line by credit card at athletic.net. Your USATF number will be requested with athletes on line registration Entries will not be processed until fees are paid! Eligibility: Each athlete must have a USATF membership card and be ready to provide proof of birth date. Please send by mail or a copy the athlete birth certificate to the membership chair to have birth certified USATF website. Birthdate must be certified in order to register the athlete on line. All relay teams must be part of a sanctioned USATF club. Proof of Birth (copy of birth certificate, passport, certified baptismal record, driver s license, or U.S. government identification) is required and must be submitted with each entry form. ADVANCEMENTS: the top 8 (and NO MOVE UPS) individuals and relay teams in each event of each age division will advance to the USATF Region 6 Championships to be held on July 7-10 at LSU Baton Rouge, Louisiana Regional Information will be sent out to the clubs. Athletes who want to participate in the combined events in the Region 6 Meet must enter at the association meet at There will not be any fee charged. You will compete at the region level The National Championships will be at -Monday July 25-July 31st, 2016 Sacramento State University Sacramento, California The top 5 athletes and relays at the Region 6 Championships will qualify for the National Championships. Information is available at The top 2 in combined events will qualify to National JO meet and any athlete that scores the required number of points.

3 Other Important Info IMPLEMENT WEIGH-IN: Saturday June 18th, and Sunday June 19 th, from 7:00.AM to 11:00.AM. Track EVENT CHECK-IN: There will be separate check-in areas for Running and Field events. Athletes must check in at these designated areas prior to the event's scheduled starting time. All athletes will be required to remain in the designated warm-up areas after checking in. COMPETITION BIB NUMBERS: All competitors must wear their assigned bib numbers during competition on the front on their jerseys only. If an athlete looses the bib number, replacement bib numbers are five dollars each. Bib numbers will be in the coaches or individual athletes package at the entry gate of the track. Relay team members must be uniformed in competition or the relay team will be disqualified. EVENT RESULTS: During competition, event results will be posted in a designated area at track stadium. In addition, event results will be posted at Alabama Runners. PROTESTS: There will be a $30.00 charge for all protests. Protests must be submitted to the Meet Referee, no later than 30 minutes after a result has been announced. The protest payment will be refunded if the protest is upheld. SPECIAL RULES OF COMPETITION FOR USATF MEETS 1. Competitors must compete in the division determined by the competitor s year of birth. 2. Sub-bantams, Bantams and Midgets may compete in three events including relays. 3. All others age groups may compete in four events including relays. There will be no "moving up" in any events, including relays. 4. The top eight from each event in each division at the association meet will qualify for the region meet. There will be no move ups. 5.
