1 play music Press h Multimedia > Media Finder > Music. To play or pause songs, press s. To play previous or next song, press S left or right. If you receive a call while music is playing, the music pauses until the call is over. Select folder where songs are located. Tip: Every song on your phone appears in All Songs. Songs may not appear in all folders. 5 You can play music with your phone closed. The external display shows the song information. To change volume, press volume keys. To show track list, press and release smart key. Use volume keys to scroll through list and select track.

2 take and send a picture Press j on side of phone to see the camera viewfinder. To send the picture, press Send. Enter text if desired, and press Send To. Tip: To print the picture on a Bluetooth enabled printer, press Options > Print > Bluetooth. Point the camera at the picture subject and press s. Press s to select recipient(s), then press Send. Tip: To take a self-portrait, close phone and see image on external display. Press volume keys to zoom or smart key to capture the portrait.

3 pair with stereo headphones On your headphones, press and hold the Call button for about 5 seconds until the indicator light turns on and remains steadily lit. If prompted to turn on Bluetooth, press Yes. 5 When prompted, enter the passcode 0000 and press OK. On your phone, press L Connection > Bluetooth Link > [Add Audio Device]. Select the headphones. When prompted to bond, press Yes.

4 manage files on memory card Press h Multimedia > Media Finder. Tip: From here you can manage all your multimedia including music, pictures and videos. To move a video between storage devices, scroll to the video and press Options. Tip: The icon to the right of the video name shows the current storage device, (memory card) and (phone). Press Manage > Move, then press s to select storage device. Tip: To copy or delete a video, press Manage > Copy or Delete. To manage videos, press Videos > All Videos.

5 record a video Press 9 Video Camera to see the video viewfinder. To store the video, press Options > Store Only. Tip: To play a video after it is stored, press h Multimedia > Media Finder > Videos > Captured Videos > video name. To store your video on the memory card, press Options > Switch Storage Device > Memory Card. Point the camera at the video subject and press s. To stop recording, press Stop. Tip: Before you start recording, press S up or down to view video settings, and press S left or right to change video settings.

6 create playlists Press h Multimedia > Media Finder > Music > Playlists > [Create New Playlist] Open a song list. Enter a name for the playlist and press Ok. Tip: To hear your playlist, highlight it under Playlists and press Options > Play. Scroll to a song and press s to select it. Repeat to add more songs. When you are finished, press Done.

7 transfer files using a usb cable Press L Connection > USB Settings. Scroll right to set Default Connection to Memory Card. Connect the USB cable. Double click on the Removable Disk icon. This is your phone s memory card. PC it s in the My Computer window. Mac it s on the desktop. 5 Drag and drop files to your phone or to your computer. Tip: To store files on your memory card, drag and drop as follows: Audio files: > mobile > audio Screen savers: > mobile > picture Wallpapers: >mobile > picture Video clips: > mobile > video 6 7 Before disconnecting the cable: PC use the Safely Remove Hardware icon at the bottom right of your computer screen. Mac drag the Removable Disk icon to the Trash. Now disconnect the USB cable. On your phone, scroll right to set Default Connection to Data Connection.

8 customise home keys Press w Settings > Personalise > Home Screen > Home Keys. Highlight Up and press Change, then select Bluetooth Link. Tip: To hide the menu icons in the home screen, highlight Icons and scroll right to set to Hide.

9 turn on aeroplane mode Press w Settings > Aeroplane Mode. Scroll right to set Aeroplane Mode to On, then press Back. Tip: To make your phone start up in aeroplane mode, scroll right to set Prompt At Startup to On.
